Chapter 106 – Discussing the Food Crisis Issues Affecting Human Colonies

In 2074, after a year of enduring life within domed cities, humanity faced a dire challenge: a food crisis plaguing every settlement. Livestock was scarce, limited to creatures like fish and sheep. Some fish survived the war’s devastation in the oceans, as did the sheep in mountainous regions outside the war zone.

Currently, scientists grapple with addressing this food crisis, urged on by government leaders to find a solution before protests erupt among the populace.

In a specially designated meeting room, ten scientists gather around a round table. Their faces bear wrinkles and tired eyes, reflecting the heavy burden they carry. The table, also a screen, displays a map of the world scarred by the wounds of war, symbolizing the global devastation.

Among those attending the meeting are the young Volkov, along with Dimitri and Makarov, who at this point are not yet familiar with each other and have not engaged in conflicts. They appear eager and spirited about their respective projects
