Chapter 10 Attack from ORC

"Fire Bolt!"

A fireball shot out from Alice's palm. I watched amazed.

"Oi, I told you not to use fire magic, we can't sell it if it burns."

Listening to me protest, Alice instead smiled proudly.

"How's my magic? Great isn't it? Look, those bunnies have been burned by my fire."

It's useless she didn't hear me at all, I turned my gaze to Rosaline.

"You lowly beasts, receive vengeance for your sins that troubled the vampire ancestor, Dark Hole!"

A black hole eliminates several rabbits. What a mess, I can't even sell a single hunt.

Elsewhere, Iris is sitting with an umbrella over her head and enjoying tea. She seemed comfortable with the situation.

It seems there's nothing I can expect from the three of them.

"If you are injured, just come here, I will treat you." said iris.

While I was thinking, a man suddenly ran towards me in a panic.

"What happened?"

"The orcs are coming."

Before I asked further, he was already running towards the city.

"Orcs? Was it the orcs that attacked the elven village?"

"There's a chance that what Iris said is true, if I'm not mistaken their number is around 10,000."

"10,000? Wow, then let me and alice beat half of them each."

"No need, I've had enough myself." alice denied.

"You intend to die? If it's true, don't do it."

"We'd better take a look first. If something happens we just sacrifice the Naoto as bait, how about it?"

"Deal!" both agree on iris statement.

I just smiled bitterly in response, how big their grudge against me.

We went in the direction the man had appeared, about 500 meters from where we were hunting we found a herd of orcs marching towards the city.

They are big, wearing iron armor complete with weapons.

"Are they the demon king army?" I asked Iris.

"That's right... Hurry up and kill them all."

"But I'm afraid, you'll see for yourself, there are so many of them, it's impossible to fight it alone."

"Why are you afraid, isn't this what we came here for?"

"I know, but you also know yourself that I'm weak, my magic can't, my abilities are lacking, all I can do is support you from behind."

Rosaline dragged my arm and said something. "Isn't it time for master to test my strength?"

"Naoto you should also become stronger, you should at least be able to protect me." said alice while pushing my back.

"Tch, even though you said you'd beat them yourself."

Naoto was standing in front of them, the orcs were staring intently at us.

"Okay, no other choice, since I'm here I have to try... rosaline."

"Okay, master."

Rosaline turned into a katana then flew towards me. I turned to Iris and said, "Iris you behind, I will protect you."

"Ah, don't worry, I've made a shield anyway, no monsters will be able to approach me, you just think about yourself."

A sacred magic circle appeared beneath the ground of the iris, for the first time I doubted that the power of a goddess was sealed.

Putting that aside, I now had to face the 10,000 orcs that were about to attack me.

I swung my katana through the air, creating a crescent-shaped slash of wind that was able to cut through anything in its path.

The orc vanguard was cut off from my attack just now, the orcs that didn't accept it then angrily charged towards us, Alice and I took a step forward.

"Fire Bolt.!"

The fireball destroyed several groups of orcs which made a huge hole in the ground. The flames continued to spread from orc to orc, burning anyone in the vicinity.

Alice is terrible, her magic is at the top level, so I don't have to worry about her.

One orc tried to slash its sword at me, but I held it back causing the sword to split in two along with its body.

"Hell Fire!"

"Fire Bolt!"

"Meteor Strike!"

"Fire Buster!"

Alice chanted all the magic names, sounding really cool. The result was beyond doubt that they had all vanished leaving behind a few orcs. somehow I envy wanting to be able to do it like that, but...

This sword is enough...

I swung the sword a few times in the air, the raging wind blades raged cutting everything away.

And then the biggest orc of them all stood in front of me.

it seemed he was the leader, Lord Orc.

"No way, you just defeated my 10,000 troops so easily."

Actually, it was Alice who killed the most with her magic.

"How dare humans finish off my troops, I will not allow it."

I dodged the orc's attack, while the blade only hit the bare ground. I tried to counterattack but was restrained by him.

Looking at the cleaver that wasn't cut in half, it seemed like it was made of good material. I'm thinking of selling it later.

While thinking about it the orc was attacking me blindly, it pushed me away with a very fast swing of the sword.

"Hey master, stop playing, quickly finish him off." The sound came from the sword I was holding.

"Okay."

I slashed the sword at the orc lord causing his arm to break. It didn't stop there, I split his body vertically, red blood started to wet the ground. The fight is over.

Rosaline turned into herself, then hugged me tightly until I lay on the ground where she was on top of me.

"What are you doing?"

"Just now a very tiring fight, I have to replenish my drained energy."

Rosaline tried to suck my blood again.

"Not on the neck, you can do it on my hands."

"If with master, I want it on the neck,"

"Y-Are you teasing me on purpose?"

"It's okay right?"

Rosaline sticks out her tongue and bites my neck, I hope this won't kill me.

Alice appeared as Rosaline sucked my blood.

"Naoto, I found some valuable equipment from them, take a look at this."

Alice is carrying a shiny armor as well as several weapons.

"Then let's just take them all to town and exchange them for money.", said iris.

"But how are we supposed to carry all this?" I asked.

"Just leave it to me master, I'll put it in my storage room."

Suddenly a black appeared sucking all the stuff.
