Invisible Killer

I opened my eyes as I drowsily sat up and quickly closed my eyes before opening them slowly for my eyes to adjust to the light, the first thing I saw was Rash standing in front of the window staring outside with a serious expression, seeing this I unconsciously grabbed my gun thinking there was danger and the noise drew the attention of Rash who grinned as he turned to me.

“You finally up sleepy head, I was starting to think you were dead” Rash joked as I got up and wiped my eyes before staring outside where I recognized the figures of Roger and some other people with a few familiar faces from the previous night.

“They’ve been there for almost 30 minutes, just standing there” Rash said after seeing my actions.

“Grab the guns and wake the girls, we’re going out” I said with a frown as I walked back and picked up my gun as I counted the remaining number of bullets, we needed to conserve our ammo because we didn’t know what the future held for us.
