The Eyeless Reaper's Weakness

I waved the axe at a tentacle which was approaching me as we raced through the empty and quiet hallway, all the way I was still trying to get the angle on the shadow, where were all the zombies, were they hiding somewhere waiting to ambush us, all these questions swirled in my head amidst escaping the onslaught of the eyeless reaper who was hell bent on chasing us or specifically me.

"I think I'm it's target" I voiced as I dodged another tentacle while blocking several more.

"What are you talking about?" Rash asked with fatigue as he also played donkey Kong with the tentacles, the girls were in front of us and we were behind so that we could protect them.

"It seems to be focused on me so the best course of action would be to separate, you guys go left and I'll lure it away and meet u with you guys later" I quickly formulated a plan.

"No we aren't doing that again" Rash refused outwardly, he remembered how I had almost died at the hands of the spider.
