CHAPTER 90

Outside the grand, luxurious gate of a massive mansion, a high-end car was parked. There were no guards present, so the person inside the car had to get out and forcefully knock on the door. After a full minute of silence, which was unusual for that place, he had to leap over the wall and enter quietly, like a cat, without making any noise. He walked carefully until he approached the entrance door of the house, surprised to find it open at that late hour. This concerned him as it indicated a lack of security. As he looked around, he was shocked to see two bodies lying beside a garden close by: Victor, who was covered in blood on his mouth and chest, and Mary, lying face down with her large pregnant belly, carrying an innocent baby who was unaware of the world's dangers at that moment.

He quickly checked Victor's neck and nose, finding that he was still breathing faintly. He did the same for Mary and realized that she was alive but had fainted from a severe shock.
