Chapter Ten

"Espionage has its origin in France where this word comes from the word espionner which means to spy and the spy was called espion. Espionage is an investigation that involves the acquisition of very secretive and very intimate information from sources that are not easily available or not direct, open information, but the collector of such information does not have any permission to do so. In short, it is an illegal method of collecting internal and confidential information. The information aims to bring visible positive benefits to the wider interests of the nation, and a person who is responsible for that intelligence work is called a spy or espionage agent. These are people who are very secretive from very sensitive fields or institutions, here I mean national security departments.“

“These are the most secretive people in the country and they are the ones who deal with the security of the country, making sure it's safe at any cost. When necessary even to end their lives and that is why many countries spend a lot of money to train these people because they are very important people in the country. if you remove the President of the country in question, often these people are only known to their leaders who are national security directors and live by a special code and not their names, they are rarely known to other people or other leaders in the country except when there is a very important emergency.

This usually involves military or political matters, that is where espionage has been invested a lot because they are the most important parts of any country in the world. It is a very dangerous profession because you are spying on someone or a country without their permission, so if you are caught, you will be tortured and you will be asked to reveal all the secrets of something that you have sworn to protect for the rest of your life, it is better that you die, but not release information that will bring disaster and sorrow to thousands of people.“

“Hence the first rule of espionage is secrecy. no matter who it is who needs to die, you should let him die but don't give out the country's secret. you should understand that if you are caught, this is something that endangers the security of the country. the punishment is unbearable torture, imprisonment or death. Keep these things in your head and don't forget a single one because this is the life you are going to live until you die" This was a very long explanation from Akio while he was teaching young Calvin the true meaning of espionage and the things it contains.

"Dah!", he spoke after heaving a very strong breath, he was scared and shaking as he wiped his sweat vigorously even though there was a strong air conditioner in there, Calvin while thinking to himself said to himself "Does this mean that these things are so difficult? but the countries have big dangerous things to ensure the nation becomes safe, that is, it is better that a person's life is lost so that the country is safe. this is very dangerous".

Akio could see this situation and decided to smile from afar and tell him,

"Today we are done here. prepare for tomorrow, you are starting to work officially on what I just explained to you here. I think you will have listened to me very carefully and without a doubt, you have understood me very well. You can go.“

this spy who has been given to supervise Calvin for about eight months before someone else comes.

Calvin left with a lot of thoughts because he was told things that were difficult for him and now he understood why old man Hiruto told him that he could not allow him to leave early because he knew the danger that was in front of him, that gave him the strength to be able to train with all his strength and all his mind so that he could face people who brought disaster and sorrow to his family.

Young Calvin now officially began to receive very dangerous combat training to strengthen his body from bones to his sanity. He learned very fast until five months later, one night Akio called him to a place with a little privacy so that they could talk. when Calvin arrived all the lights suddenly went out, this scared him a lot but in front of him, he saw Akio wearing black ninja clothes and he gave him a sign. it was very dark, and he did not understand where they were going, but he came to be surprised when they were outside at the edge of a big river where there were some very tall trees.

"Yamato is the name of this river, it is a river with a very long history in this country due to the fact that it is the name of the chain of laws for the succession of power in the imperial administrative houses in Japan, it is a river with a length of approximately 68 square kilometres. I have a very long history with this river with that old Haruto, this is the river that made me meet him and I have a basic reason for bringing you here. first I want you to know who I am and then we will do the second thing that made me bring you here.“

“Several years ago, about fifteen years ago, I was a fifteen-year-old boy, I was born in one of the most famous states in the United States known as Minnesota. Unfortunately, I was not lucky enough to live with my father, for whom was everything, he left when I was six years old and until today I don't know if he is alive or dead. I have lived all my life with my mother alone, she used to do very dangerous and shameful activities so that she could provide for me. I respected the woman more than anything, then one day she said goodbye to me in the evening that she was going out quickly and would not be late to return, but it was not as she promised me. the whole day passed but she didn't return home until the next day when she was found having been subjected to a very brutal act and killed on the side of a club in the state. I cried a lot because she was the only family I had left and I loved her so much that I cannot explain. so until then, I had no family anymore and I had to live with my strength and my own mind in this world full of injustice. that's when I changed my soul and became a person who has no mercy at all for those who abuse people without any guilt supposedly because they have money and power, from then on I became a very cruel person.
