After Mr. Adrian had finished talking to Sophie, he turned towards Gavin and said, "And you, you have been standing here for sometime without saying a word, do not tell me that you actually came here for nothing. "Husband?" He asked in disbelief, anger pitching in his voice. The line of his eyebrows thickened as a frown set over his face. "Your sister's husband? Gavin?"No words left the lips of anyone in the room. Gavin stood by the door, looking on in confusion as he wondered what exactly was going on. Meghan had an apologetic look on her face and so did Sophie. At this point, she was wondering why I told him who Gavin was to her sister and it made her feel guilty. But almost immediately, she kicked the feeling off, concluding that even if she had not said a word, Gavin's presence had already ruined everything.Meanwhile, Mr Adrian's anger increased when he got no response."Leave my office now." Gavin went home later that evening, hoping that he would see his wife at home, and perhaps talk to her about what had just happened in the office. It seemed certainly like some cruel joke being told to him by Mr. Stallion. The air in the room was hot even with the fact that it was littered with air conditioning, on all walls.
