184. Hope Rekindled.

Gavin and his group were ecstatic about the development because it allowed them to brag that their boss was the supreme head of the underworld gangs.

Gavin never really liked that way of life, but since they had always supported him when he needed it, he had no choice but to fight for it.

They stopped at a pharmacy on their way home to get Gavin's wounds cleaned and bandaged, and then one of them started growling, which made the others laugh as well. Gavin then instructed the driver to drive them to the closest fast-food restaurant so they could grab a bite to eat before their stomachs began to eat them alive.

They all arrived at the fast-food restaurant and ordered sodas and hamburgers. In addition to being gang members, Gavin was relieved to learn that they were people with regular lives, and he felt fortunate to be a part of them.
