31. Workplace Violence. Abuse. And Brutality.

A day after the beating, and Gavin went back to work, walking by limping with his bruised leg and body. It was painful. And as though that was not enough, the weather itself was unbearable. The sun was high in the sky. The heat seemed to sip in through the wounds and into his bones.

As he walked, tears hung to his eyes on standby.

"I am not going to let him get away with this," he swore through the pain he was going through. "I promise I am going to make him pay for what he did."
