54. You Will Regret This.

Once Meghan saw her husband and a strange well dressed man enter the office, she tapped James who was trying to buy her some more items as a way to show off to her that he really could take care of her.

"What?" He asked, feeling her poke into his back with her fingers.

"My husband is inside," she said.

"And so?" Sophie forced herself into their conversation. "Don't be ungrateful, Meghan. Your items just got paid for by a perfect gentleman. There is nothing your husband can do about it, even if he decides to cry and lament all day."

"No, that is not what I meant." Meghan complained, already feeling annoyed by her sister's recent pokenosing into her business.

"And what then did you mean?" Sophie asked again, still as abrasive as she had been.

Meghan never gave a reply.

Gavin and Andrew got to where they were, and everybody except Meghan, twitched their noses to give off the idea that Gavin smelled badly. Gavin paid no attention to any of them.
