60. Gavin's Payback.

Hours before Gavin was called in by the police, the Chief Security Officer of the City Express, Ron was on the road, in his car. In just a few hours after he was threatened he had developed a habit of looking left and right, over and before his shoulder blades.

Of course he was too prideful to admit that he was scared, even to himself. He could not bear to look into the car's mirror and admit that to himself. That indeed he was scared that Gavin, whom he had always thought to be lower than himself, now had the ability to make his hands shake and his knees tremble.

His eyes scanned every face he saw on the road he drove. Everybody was a suspect. His house lay in a part of the city that could only be accessed by going through a certain street known for its scantiness.
