66. Discarding James.

In the Stallion family mansion, there was a gathering of people, a meeting that involved everyone that had close connections to the family—everyone except Meghan and her husband, whose name if mentioned would all but only draw snares from everybody else seated around the table. "What on earth is going on?" Mr. Stallion asked. His voice was hoarse and sounded unsettlingly like he was someone scrapping a rough metal with another rough metal. Everybody else turned and gazed at him because it was usual practice for him to ask a question simply for the sake of causing an effect, then delve in later to explain what exactly he was trying to say.
