81. Son-in-law Vs. Potential Son-in-laws.

The words of Mr. Stallion kept ringing in the heads of James and Harry as they walked out of the station with their heads hanging low, feeling totally bad and ineffective.

"So where do we go from here?" James asked Harry. "Do you know anybody within your connections and contacts that is close to the Chief Of Police? That would really really be helpful."

Harry shook his head as he dragged his feet across the floor. "You should know by now, that if I had, I would not be letting Sophie sleep in such squalid situations in the cell. You of all people should know that, by now, don't you think?"

James sighed. It was an abnormally painful sounding kind of sigh. "Well you can't blame me, my brain is really on overdrive here."
