And that was the end of my wit. The twenty minutes pitch presentation had just come to an end yet if felt like I didn't do anything reasonable. 

I guess I was free to think that way since everyone seated before me in the conference hall - the board of directors - was indifferent. None of them had an intrigued face on. They all wore the stern and is-that-all kinda look. 

Even Samantha, who was seated on the last seat by the left of the long table which housed, ten individuals to the right and left, didn't seem to be moved. She hadn't shot me those broad overrated smile since I started the pitch. And now is the end, yet nothing.
