012: Chaos In 30th-to-fall Black market

November finally succeeded in sneaking into the black market without getting caught by these armed men. He intended to rescue his sister and make sure Penny MacFarlane get caught.

He wouldn't mind carrying his sleeping sister over his shoulder, and holding onto the woman so as to tap into his super-speed in order to take her to the station. To him, she deserved to rot in jail for all her crimes.

He walked around for some time, using his flick quirk in search of his younger sister. Making sure to hide when necessary, because he didn't want to get involved with such notorious men.

It was kind of hard for him because he didn't know where to find Stacey, although he was at the place where Charlie Wang-Holder told him Penny MacFarlane had taken her. November contemplated phoning Macey so he could ask Charlie Wang-Holder the exact spot that had Penny MacFarlane.

He walked around more until he saw a white hatchback being guarded by three beefy-looking men with guns.

He narrowed his eyes and used his sneak-a-look quirk at the back seat of the car, and saw his little sister asleep. Her small hands were tied with an office tie.

Relief flooded through him for a moment as he saw the continuous rise and fall of Stacey's small shoulders as she breathed softly like a newly birthed kitten. But she appeared troubled even in her sleep. There were even dried stains of tears on her face, which indicated that she had been crying.

Anger then coursed through his veins because they had the guts to tie up his sister and give her a sleeping doze. Made her cry so much.

November slowed down the pent-up anger inside of him as he wondered where Penny MacFarlane was. And why men guarded his sister. Did Charlie Wang-Holder give her a signal through the call or something?

Time wasn't on his side, but he needed to act fast before he lost Stacey Calhoun.

As if sensing a presence behind them, one of the men snapped his head around, but November's quirk was fast enough to pull him up, so he floated above their heads until they returned to watching Stacey and cracking some joke as they laughed.

November went down and picked something from the floor. He threw it at one guy's head and the guy looked at his companion.

"Who threw that at me?" He asked but there was no response as the rest stared at him in confusion. Asking him if he was being tormented by his grandfather's ghost.

November gave the second guy a knock and he turned to the first, asking if he knocked him because they had laughed at him.

November did them dirty for a few minutes, stirring up a quarrel until the trio began pushing on themselves, exchanged roundhouse blows, kept their guns down, and broke into a fight.

Satisfied with this, he succeeded in getting to Stacey's side and used his telekinesis quirk to unlock the back seat of the car, even though the doors were locked.

Noiselessly, he opened the car door and slipped out a sleeping Stacey Calhoun. Relief was flooding through him as Stacey flew closer to him. He had his heart pounding with full force because he was finally saving his little sister.

A gunshot immediately broke into the air, putting everything to a halt; the fighting men, Stacey Calhoun paused in midair because November had taken his eyes off her and whirled his head around to know where the gunshot came from. And then, he saw a blonde woman holding a gun in the air.

No doubt she was Penny MacFarlane who went under the disguise of Mrs. Thompson. November could barely believe his eyes. She had not only fooled his family but the entire neighborhood.

But that was beside the point, he just got caught.

"Awwn, big brother being the hero and saving his sister, isn't it?" Penny aimed her gun at him, "and what did you do to her?" She nudged her head towards where Stacey slept in the air.

Her men too pointed their guns at him as they stared at Stacey, astounded. While November took a hard gulp and then raised his hands in defense.

"Why did you kidnap my sister?" He gritted out, not scared of her or her many in any way. In Fact, he was buying time to figure out what to do to them. There was no point hiding anymore.

Penny MacFarlane took steps towards him until she was standing two feet away from the boy.

"Dear lord, why are you dressed like a retired slut in Alabama?" She exclaimed, stirring up laughter from the men.

"You still haven't answered my question, Penelope," November growled.

"Put her down first, I don't fucking know what you did."

"She's my sister and she's safe there. Now tell me why the fuck do you want to sell my sister to the fucking Arabs."

"Slow down, boy. You've never used the f-word on anyone. And that dick head, Charlie told you where I am, right? Because I told him I would reduce his share to 20%." Penny paused to smack the gum in her mouth, before blowing a balloon with it.

November hated her guts. How she could freely talk, not even caring that he was there because she had armed men with her. This woman feigned being old and acted nice to everyone. She impersonated Mrs. Thompson, someone who didn't exist. Penny MacFarlane needed to be jailed for impersonation and child trafficking.

"You will pay for everything you've done, Penelope. I'll make sure you get caught and rot in jail." November directed this statement to Penny when he thought about the kids who were sold off to the fucking Arabs. And how she had planned to sell off Stacey, his younger fucking sister.

"Well, let's see about that, boy." Penny rewarded him with a sinister smile before the smile dropped off when she shifted her gaze back to Stacey, "now I don't know what the fuck you did to her, but you're gonna put her down right now. And I don't fucking care if you have the alien virus, you definitely wouldn't be here talking if you had enough powers to save your sister. You're one frail asshole with a shitty mom and an AWOL father." She concluded breathlessly, before ordering her men to maintain their guns in November's direction. She was going to pull Stacey Calhoun down herself.

"Don't," November warned as Penny drew closer to his sister's side. Her words had sliced deep through him and how she had insulted his mom. It pained him so much and he was only giving her a slight warning because he knew he was losing it.

"Let's see what you can do, boy. I wouldn't mind selling you off to the Arabs. They would lock you up in a cage and treat you like a dog. You'll eat their poop and lick their arseholes." Her voice sounded hostile and bitter, but it didn't intimidate him a bit.

She grabbed hold of Stacey, and all the lights immediately went off.

There was murmuring because the entire place was dark and they couldn't make out anything, until a shuddering Penny MacFarlane put the light on her phone and saw November right in front of her, with his makeup smeared across his face.

She shrieked like she just saw a ghost, completely letting go of Stacey whom November raised up above the air.

Penny MacFalane's men started shooting upon hearing their boss's howl of horror.

November used his speed quirk to dodge the bullets as he controlled Stacey above him, so she wouldn't sustain any bullet injury. Never in his one decade and six years on earth did he think he would Dodge bullets. It was completely insane that he just figured he had powers barely twenty-two hours ago and now he was making use of them like he had had powers all his life.

November finally secured a spot to hide as more men found their way toward where the shooting was taking place. It was dark but he looked up above him and felt thankful that Stacey was still under the sleeping doze. His little sister had suffered too much.

He detached his skirt from his body, remaining in just the strapless top and leather leggings. He squeezed the skit it hard, before pulling down Stacey with his eyes and putting her on his back.

He didn't know where the courage came from, but he switched on one light as he tied his sister to his back, fully prepared for Penny MacFarlane and her men.

They drew to his side when they saw the light, and they pointed their guns at him. Index fingers ready to pull the trigger of the seemingly hot riffles.

November waited for Penny MacFarlane to show up before he cast her a side-smug smirk and tightened the skirt around his sister.

"You think you can mess with me, November Calhoun?" Penny MacFarlane scoffed, but her eyes held so much venom in them. "Playing silly games with that stupid alien virus of yours."

"The fact that you know what you do is wrong and you don't feel remorseful over it, baffles me, Mrs. Thompson." November deliberately used her fake name to taunt her.

"And you've got some guts too." She folded her arms across her chest and mirrored his expression. "How do you expect me to feel bad when I was sold this way when I was barely six? I was kidnapped and shipped off to Dubai like some ram meant for Ramadan." Pain flashed through her face and disappeared as fast as it arrived.

"Still, it gave you no right to treat innocent kids the same way." November felt sorry for the child that she was at that time, but not the adult version of her.

"You're not far from a monster, Penelope. And you'll pay for all the kids and families you've traumatized. You and your men." November spat out and then wiped his mouth with the back of his hand while maintaining eye contact with her.

"You have no right to call me a monster!" Penny ticked her jaw and then just like a stray dog, terror flashed through her eyes and disappeared as fast as it had arrived.

"Shoot his legs, and be careful not to hurt his sister. We'll be needing both of them. Triple cash. I'll bet he'll serve as a sex slave to Shakurkan." Penny quietly told her men as she glared at November and then moved backward.

But she was the one who got shocked in return because it took her a moment to see all the guns hanging in the air. And her men, empty-handed.

There was a unified gasp from everyone, mostly her. Before she recollected herself and then yelled at her men to do something.

A heavy Sasquatch of a man approached November, flexing his huge biceps as he bared his teeth.

While November just scoffed and then sent the man twenty feet up before giving him a two-finger salute, as he yelled his lungs out in absolute fright.

The rest tried to fight him, but he dodged, making their bodies collide against each other, using whatever he could find to hit them with his quirk.

He swung a baseball bat to hit the head of a bald-headed, orange-beard man and felt sorry when the man bled.

They ganged up and tried to attack him at once, but he floated effortlessly, and they collided into each other with force.

As November got down, he made sure Stacey was safe behind him the whole time he used his quirks on these men. Until Penny shot him herself.

If he hadn't turned around and held the bullet still with his eyes, it'd have killed his little sister.

His chest rose and fell like a balloon that got deflated as his body invigorated for war. He used his quirk to slam Penny MacFarlane against a nearby wall, and she fell down with a deadbeat groan.

Her red polished nails were stretching for the gun that laid a few meters from her reach and November used it to smack her on the face, before raising it to join the rest of the guns that had been up for some time.

Stacey stirred on his back, and he knew he had to act fast so she would awake in the arms of their mother. He didn't want her to witness any of this because she was too young.

"Nowem-ber?" She called out drowsily and he cast her a shoulder glance, with his heart breaking because he didn't want to think about the way she had cried and feared, "go back to sleep Stace." He whispered.

"Have you come to take me home? They said I won't see mommy or you again, and they laughed when I cwied." She wrapped her hands around his neck as she leaned closer to him.

"Don't you worry anymore, Stace." He blinked back the tears brimming in his eyes, and then recollected himself when he saw Penny MacFarlane trying to get up from the floor.

And when she was close to standing upright, he used his telekinesis quirk in slamming her against the wall yet again. Harder than the first time that he was sure she fainted when her body collided with the floor.
