016: Not Your Typical Trio

"Do you think George can give us the answers we need?" November queried Precisely Macey as they stopped in front of the boy's house at speed. Somehow both Sebastian and Macey had held onto him and he used his quirk to bring them there in less than five seconds, after taking directions from Macey.

"Possibly, he was Timothee's lab partner in chemistry. Although Timothee was very quiet and barely talked, George must've observed something about him." Macey responded

"Should we be doing this?" Sebastian looked at November weirdly as he licked his palm and then smoothed his hair.

"This isn't a photo shoot where you have to look perfect with everything. We're here to interrogate George for a few minutes before leaving to God knows where." Macey paused and then cursed under her breath, "my dad's gonna kill me if he gets home and finds me missing."

"Which is one of the reasons why you shouldn't be here. I can take you home, so you can carry on with your duty by being the nice and respectful daughter who ignores November Calhoun because he's dangerous to hang out with."

"Sarcasm noted," Macey thinned her lips at him, before shoving her fists into her hoodie pocket.

"So we're doing this?" Sebastian iterated the question he asked a few minutes ago.

"Why not?" Macey eyed him.

"It's not our job to figure things out. And then there's this monster roaming about in human form, who knows if it has swallowed someone else and shapeshifted into them." Sebastian stated matter of factly, "okay, at first I was kinda interested in asking about Timothee because of those men who showed up and took his body, but I'm more scared of what November saw."

"Me too, sort of scared for my family." November chipped in.

"Calm down, let's just speak to George." Macey decided to be man enough to toughen them up.

"Should we ring the doorbell?" Sebastian asked, stretching his hand towards where it was.

"No, it's late and his parents might not find it likely with us." Macey disapproved of it, pulling him back through his collar.

"So what do we do?" November directed this to Macey.

They tiptoed towards the backyard and bent down, before slowly raising their heads to peep.

"This is stupid. I mean we can just tell them we want to talk to their son." Macey rolled her eyes, pulling Sebastian away yet again.

"Shhh," November shushed her, before peeking at the boy's mom who seemed to be busy.

"Uh, I can see his mom, making dinner." He informed his companions in a whisper.

"And what else?" Sebastian made this inquiry, as he glared at Macey.

"Nothing, we should go to his room." November moved away from the window.

"We don't know where his room is." This from Sebastian.

"Up," Macey pointed above them, where was music blaring from the speakers, with a blue light switched on.

"How do we get up there?" Sebastian wondered, looking from November to Macey and Macey to November.

"I've got this," November tried to float up since he didn't know how to fly. It worked weirdly, but not in the right way because he was scared of heights.

"You can't just leave us here like that," Macey had her arms at the corners of her mouth as she yelled in displeasure, and November paused for a moment when his eyes caught something from afar.

"Guys.." he barely finished calling them when he lost his balance and fell on the ground in a loud thud and groaned.

"What did you see?" Macey asked him, rushing to help him up. It was weird how he allowed himself to lose his balance just like that. Something wasn't right at all.

"I think I just saw that monster again, it's walking with a man with a man this." November breathed out and Macey huffed, dismissing his report already.

"Are you serious or you're beginning to imagine things?" Sebastian pulled him up by his shirt and November stared at him with displeasure, panting and puffing. Before he formed his face in all seriousness.

"I'm dead serious. I saw her..it.. laughing heartedly, took this guy by his arm."

"So you're saying we abandon George and go over to fight that thing?" Sebastian uplifted a brow. "Do you want us to die?"

"No, I just..it will kill again." November gritted out.

"We cannot go ahead to face it like this when we haven't even drafted out any plan," Macey spoke up.

"You're right, Macey." Sebastian agreed with her. "We need to prepare, or we'll die if we go for it. Now I don't have a quirk like you guys, so it'll be easier for me to get killed."

"So we're just gonna let that guy die like that?" November frowned.

There was a pause and it seemed they were all having thoughts about this until November disappeared and returned with the guy he had seen.

"Oh my god," Sebastian exclaimed with enlarged eyes.

"Are you insane?" Macey asked him incredulously.

"What's happening? Who are you guys? How did I get here?" The man looked frightened as he asked them this, his legs were still dancing out of fright.

"Listen, buddy, I just saved your ass," he patted the man's shoulder.

"I don't understand what you did back there, kid." The man swatted November's hand away, before frowning at him, "tell me what the hell happened."

"You wanted to have her for the night? Right? You should count yourself lucky or you'd have kissed your dare life goodbye." November answered.

The man appeared flabbergasted for a moment, while Macey folded her arms across her chest and glared at November.

"I don't understand what the heck you just did," she fumed.

"He needed saving, Mace." November looked at the man who appeared to be blinking in confusion as he stared around him.

"What's happening? Where is this place? How did I even get here?" He asked no one in particular and then stopped to avert his gaze to the only female in the boys' midst, "did I die or something?"

"You sure would've," she replied then glared at November.

"Just calm down, alright? What I saw half an hour ago still haunts me. I couldn't let yet another human get killed that way."

"Do you want to get us killed?" Macey couldn't hide the displeasure on her face. Because it seemed November was seemingly annoying with this thing he kept talking about. "You saved this guy and now that thing would go after someone else. Probably begin a killing spree."

"I was just trying to save someone's ass, or else this guy could've been swallowed in one gulp and that thing would've taken over his form," November explained himself, hoping Macey and Sebastian would under his actions, but they didn't. They were furious as hell.

"Look who's talking, last time I checked you claimed you wouldn't save lives anymore." With a huff, Macey raised her chin defiantly and stared down at him down her nose.

"It'd look for you right now, and maybe trace us as well because we're with you, Nov-" Sebastian was interrupted from speaking when November rushed to his sight and clamped his hand tightly on his mouth to restrain him from mentioning his name.

"Who are you guys?" The man squinted, "speak and I'll discard the thought of calling the police.

Macey scoffed.

"What's your name and where do you stay?" November looked at him.

"Giles David and I stay in Karcher street, why do you ask? Do you intend to rob me?" The man stared from one teen to the other, and his eyes rested lastly on Sebastian who had this handsome serial killer look.

"Do we look like thieves to you?" Sebastian frowned and then took a step forward to the man who backed away in fear, before holding up a pepper spray, "don't come any closer!"

"Jesus, I thought pepper spray is made for defenseless females." Sebastian guffawed.

"You're damn right," Macey looked rather bored as she observed the man. "Why do you have pepper spray with you? Doesn't that make you feel demeaning as a guy?"

"What do you care what I do with my life?" The man fumed, "I saw this nice lady who was beautiful and jovial, we had some fun time and headed for my place and then I found myself here within seconds."

"Liking an alien totally washes you out." Macey shook her head.

"What do you mean by that?" Giles glowered.

"I just saved you, sir. From a human-swallowing, Scene-pausing, shape-shifting alien." November shoved his hands in his pockets as he cast the man a serious look. "If I hadn't shown up, you'd have been consumed in one big gulp,"

"And maybe have your bones vomited in ditches along the road," Macey added with a friendly non-threatening smile that was supposed to be creepy.

There was a pause as Giles looked at them like they were crazy, before bursting into a fit of laughter.

"It's funny, huh?" Sebastian slid his toothpick to the middle of his mouth, before taking another step forward.

"You kids are crazy," Giles wheezed, putting his pepper spray down, "don't tell me you do drugs?" He wiped his mouth with the back of his palm, "what did your friend say again?" He looked at Macey with amusement in his eyes.

"Human-swallowing, Shape-shifting, Scene-pausing alien." She provided, with a slight nudge of her glasses.

"There are no aliens in Marion County, and how do you expect someone as sweet as Suzie to be an alien?"

"Oh, you even have a name for her?" November snorted and ended up sneezing. This act made him float up high before he controlled his body down with his quirk.

"What in the hell was that? You're one of those kids with the alien virus?" Giles was beyond shocked.

"I thought you said Aliens do not exist in Marion county?" Sebastian queried with a raised brow.

"Guys, we're still in front of someone's home," Macey pointed out, "you need to get rid of this Giles David, so we can talk to George and hope that monster doesn't look for us since you just stole his second dinner."

"Karcher street, I think I know that place," November grabbed the man by his arm and then used his speed quirk to drop him off before returning to Macey and Sebastian in less than ten seconds.
