059: Blind (II)

"Can you see?" Sebastian asked after sliding an eyedrop into November's eyes.

"No, it's been fucking five hours." November gritted out, looking exasperated. They were in his temporary room with everyone gone and at the hospital except a guilt-stricken Jane who had her knees drawn up to her chest from the corner where she was seated.

"Can't believe this is fucking happening to me," November scoffed incredulously as he placed his hand over his eyes, stroking them.

"I think blindness will require more time to trail away," Sebastian assured him, putting his hand over his shoulder.

"I'm sorry you're in such position because of me," Jane apologized before nibbling her bottom lip on sadness, "if there's anything I can do to help, I will."

There was no response from the boys and so she took this as a hint to leave, to give them privacy.

"I couldn't even go out to save Macey," November balled his fists really hard and heaved deeply, "couldn't do any damn thing."
