He wasn't afraid of the lion, he had fought the alien monster. The zombie aliens and giants.

Things that were far worse than the lion who seemed common to him. But then his were unavailing.

November stood on his ground when the lion roared at him. And didn't even bulge.

Even though his quirks were failing, he had mastered the art of being courageous during dangerous times.

He had come out because he wanted to prove to Lucy and the rest that he truly did have quirks. Except it seemed like a seemingly stupid thing because his quirks were malfunctioning.

The desert lion didn't look healthy like the ones back at the zoo in Marion county. Those ones were a lot beefier in size unlike this one that looked completely different from the ones he was used to.

This one seemed somewhat starved because it lived in the desert. Unlike the ones back in Indianapolis that were constantly being fed by their keepers.
