Three thousand years ago, an event occurred that would change history. The Earth is about to experience an apocalypse when a meteor shower hits. The cause was a collision between two giant meteors in space adjacent to the Earth’s orbital line. Almost 80% of living things on Earth died. But it was not the only impact of the meteor shower of the time. Anyone who can survive will have tremendous strength. The power of the so-called Odd Eye Circle (OEC) or another name for Tyr Gods Syndrome. Each owner of this power can manipulate human brains to kill each other or something that normal humans cannot think of. Anyone with an Odd Eye Circle has a characteristic: their two eyeballs have different colors. That is what distinguishes them from ordinary people.

Tears filled the entire room. The nurse immediately cleans the innocent baby, who is full of blood. Soon, a man appeared in the delivery room.

“How are my wife and son?”

“Your son is safe, Sir...” The nurse stopped her speech as doubt clouded her mind.

The man turned his face to the place where his wife was lying. His expression instantly froze when he found the woman he loved stiffening, not flinching. “Oh... No... No way...” He approached his wife, holding a cold hand. There are no visible signs of life there. Instantly destroyed the man’s feelings. He wept as he continued to hug his wife’s body. Perhaps because of this, the newborn also feels the grief of his father and also cries.

Then the man realized. With tears still on her face, she looked at her newborn son. How surprised he was when he found the boy’s eyes a different color, or it can be called Odd Eye Circle.

Realizing that he did not have much time, the man immediately took the baby in his arms and wrapped him tightly in a blanket. Try to keep the baby’s eyes invisible.

“No one should know about this,” he told two nurses there. “I have to go somewhere. I beg you to cremate my wife.”

“But Sir–”

“Please ... I just trust you.” The light in the man’s eyes was dim. Just like his heart slowly went numb.

“Okay... Mr. Foster.”

The storm hit with a relentless howling wind. The wind rushes to the trees and surrounding buildings. The night gripped anyone who dared to get out of the stopover. But that didn’t happen to the man dressed in all black in the middle of the night. His steps seemed cautious, while his face endlessly glanced in all directions, analyzing the situation still safely.

After a considerable struggle, he stopped in front of a large but old-looking building. There was still a window open, a sign of life there.

“I promise I’ll find you when it’s safe, my son,” the man said, remembering the baby beside him.

After that, he removed the baby from a box with some baby clothes and a letter. Then he returned the bell on the left side of the door. The man always faced the storm without waiting for the door to open. Perhaps because of the inner solid bond, the baby struggles to return to his father. The wind’s howling roared like an introductory melody of joy between them.

Fresh doors open. A rich, beautiful woman came from there. She is always looking for the proper presence of the baby at the door. She seemed to be holding the baby, holding him in her arms. The woman experiences her gaze, looking for the happiness of the offender who could give birth to the unfortunate baby in the middle of a dark storm. But, nothing. It’s just that she found a lot of papers in the box where the baby was. The letter accidentally referred to the owner of the baby before death.

‘My son, when you read this, know I love you very much. I promise to give you a safe world. Please wait for me. With an armful of love, I give you a name, Theodore.’

“Let’s play ball!” Exclaimed one of the boys, who was about seven years old.

“Come on! We share the first group,” replied another boy. “Who wants to play ball?”

“I am!”

“Me too!”

“I’m coming!”

Almost all the boys raised their hands. They try to raise it higher as if it could get them elected. There is no exception to the half-eye boy sitting in the corner of the room.

Slowly, he got up and then patted his pants, removing the dust from there. Only he didn’t get a seat and ended up sitting on the floor without a mat. “May I join you?”

The moment of silence struck. None of the crowd of children opened their voices other than to show a look of horror. Then they whispered to each other while glancing at the boy. Condescending gazes mixed with the simultaneous disgust they showed.

“Huh? Do you want to join? Didn’t I hear wrong? We only accept human members, not monsters like you!”

“That’s right! You disgusting monsters!”

“Get away from us before we take your eyes off you!”

“Ugh! Look at that different eye color; it’s disgusting.”

“Let’s just play, don’t care about the monster!”

The red half-eye boy could only bow his head when an expletive floated for him. It is not the first time he has been treated without wearing. It is all thanks to his eyes, which are different colors, unlike those of ordinary people.

“Hey, Theo! We changed our minds.” One of the boys returned with a sly smile on their face. “We need one more person in our team. You can come play.”

“Really?” asked the red half-eye boy – Theodore – with brightly lit eyes.

Hearing that, Theo didn’t want to waste the opportunity. He hopes that this will change his life for the better. He hopes to be accepted by his friends. So, Theo nodded and followed the group of boys with a big smile.

Unfortunately, his innocent mind caught Theo off guard, and he eventually met a lousy ending.
