“You can give up at this stage if you’re afraid of going through it! But you will suffer the consequences!” Master Lazarus is on the sidelines.

“Is he serious?” Theo stared in disbelief. “Doesn’t he really care about all of us?”

“I think he’s earnest.” Jared gulped his saliva.

“We can stop, Jared. It is better to accept any consequences than to be eaten by crocodiles.”

“I believe the consequences are as bad as being eaten by a crocodile. We must go through this bravely!”

“Don’t worry, Jared!”

Jared didn’t seem to hear Theodore’s warning. He grabbed the nearest rope and began to swing with all his might. At the edge of the pool, Theodore watched anxiously as Jared grabbed the next rope. Jared swung like a monkey, trying to avoid death. Theo then turned the other way. Some students gave up before reaching the first rope, and some coaches pulled them out of the arena. Theo doesn’t know what will happen to them, but he believes Jared’s words if he gets the consequences as dire as crossing
