Chapter 140

Lydia walked into his office with a tray of coffee and water that Oliver hadn't asked for. He didn't budge as he watched her walk in.

"I thought you might be tired," Lydia said as she placed the tray on his table. Oliver's eyes raked her. He knew all of her games.

Her top buttons were undone, and she bent lower, attempting to reveal more of her cleavage, anything to make sure she had Oliver at the tip of her fingers. Her plan seemed to have been working from the very beginning, and he didn't suspect her.

The corner of his lips curved in a smirk as he eyed her chest. Her attempts were futile, but just for a little more, he needed to reel her in. "Thanks, Lydia." Oliver pulled the tray closer.

Lydia didn't leave; rather, she turned round the table and sat on it, concern etched on her face as she reached for Oliver, her hands patting the hair that fell on his face. "You look worried, boss," She asked in a sultry tone, her gaze holding his. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
