Success without Marv felt incomplete. It's been a month since he died from the assassin attack. After that, things have been really quiet and smooth, even though Lydia hadn't been apprehended.

It was as though she sank into the shadows after she realized Oliver wasn't someone to be trifled with. Oliver was still conflicted, and even after Marv's funeral, he still couldn't shake off the heavy feeling.

He should have done better to protect him. If only he'd been faster and better, Lydia would have been put in her place. Oliver focused solely on restoring his reputation, but his search for Lydia never faltered.

He sat in his office, conversing with one of his men, when his new secretary walked in and told him his client had arrived. It was none other than Clark, and he was finally ready to sign the deal. It had been long enough, and a change was due.
