"I found something boss," Bill said to oliver as Oliver Stepped into the house. It was already nighttime, and he had spent the entire day in the office again. He missed Mia but she was not home yet. Work was starting to take so much of her time. Oliver was starting to think that it was time for him to finally put the ring on her finger. She had waited enough, and he knew that there was no such thing as a perfect time when it came to matters like that."What did you find, Bill?" He asked when a maid came to take his briefcase. Oliver headed straight for the bar and Bill followed."I ran through all of our files looking for any form of place where Corbin could have been mentioned. It was a far stretch but at the end, I decided to go even farther back,""How far?" Oliver asked him."Before you were born. And I found something," Bill said and gave Oliver a photograph. Oliver checked the picture and saw a young Corbin standing side-by-side with his father and grandfather. They were in a j
Corbin drove to the location specified in the text that Oliver had sent. That night brought with it so many surprises for Corbin, but not even once did he think that Oliver would call that early. "Perhaps I must have been very convincing," he chuckled as he stepped down from the car. He locked the car and took a good look around. The location was quite serene, almost like a place where someone could be abducted. But Corbin scoffed at the thought. He assumed that Oliver was too naive at that point to stage anything.Corbin then proceeded to walk into the large square shaped building that was pinpointed. The building had only one visible door that Corbin could see. There were several windows but they were tiny and they looked like they would not contain a human being as large as he is.Corbin shook away the thoughts. There was no need for him to have those thoughts. It did not matter what woiks happen that night, trying to escape from Oliver would not be one of them. Or so he thought.
"My brother should have returned by now," Claude said as he paced around the motel room. Donavan was busy smoking a cigarette to ease off the stress and Pascal on the other hand kept his eyes glued to his phone.Pascal tried his best to look for someone to contact who could help him out in his mess but he could not find a single soul that was interested. He had no friends, no acquaintances. All he had was himself and Mia whose existence was slowly turning to a dream for him."What do you think he did to my brother? Do you think he's dead?" Claude asked Donavan who exhaled while the smoke puffed out of his mouth."It's very likely. Look, I do not know Oliver lionheart that much but from what I can gather, if he wants to make sure your brother is dead for tricking him, he will." Donavan took another smoke."So what are you saying? That he's dead? Is that what you're fucking saying?" Claude yelled at Donavan."Hey! Don't raise your voice at me. I am in a similar mess as you are. So sit d
"Now that it is decided, I think it's time for you to go, Corbin," Oliver said but Corbin tried to jump up. A shadow held him down. With tears on his eyes, Corbin looked at Claude again."You would betray me to save your own life? How could you do this?" We are brothers! We are family!" Corbin yelled. Claude did nit spare him a look."I am making the better choice. You always think that everything is about you. Do you think that I enjoy this? Making the decision to kill you? I do not! But for the sake of the work at hand...""What fucking work? That is your freaking excuse for doing the stupid things you do. To hell with you, Claude!" Corbin yelled. Oliver chuckled and then brought out a gun. He gazed at Corbin as Corbin raised his hands in submission and Oliver sighed."Fine. Corbin, I will give you a chance to fight back," Oliver said. "This gun only has a single bullet in it. No funny games now. If you want to take a shot at me, go ahead. But let me tell you that you will likely mi
Pascal groaned as he opened his eyes. He quickly shut them as the light from the Mercury bulbs Shone so bright into his eyes and caused him to squint. He gradually opened his eyes again and took that moment to look around. His hands were in handcuffs, and his legs were tied together. The room in which he was kept surprisingly have a smell of incense and roses. Pascal tried to move but his body was not obeying him. It was like he was injected with skme sort of paralytic that was beginning to wear off. He groaned and sighed again, shaking his head which gave him a feeling of pain. The door opened and Oliver walked in. He gazed at Pascal with disdain as he approached a chair and took his seat. He kept his eyes on Pascal, not taking them off him, not even for a moment."Well, look who's here. Have you finally decided to kill me?" Pascal asked Oliver as Oliver took his seat. Oliver kept his eyes on Pascal and then sighed."I always knew you never liked me. You were angry that Mia picked m
"Oliver, what are we doing here?" Mia asked oliver as the helicopter dropped them by the beach. "you told me that we were going for a function," she added and he smiled."This is also an event, don't you think?" He asked her as she smiled. Oliver quickly stepped down from the helicopter. It was sunny, and that afternoon, there were several other people in the beach. The hot summer sun was enough to make anybody melt."I am not dressed for the beach," she told him. He took a look at her shorts and light shirt."You're dressed enough," he added. Oliver took her hand, and gently, they strolled toward down towards the sea."Do you remember the first time we met?" He asked her and she laughed."Of course, how can I forget? You saved me from robbers. I did not know that you were you back then but I was sort of fascinated by my knight in shining armor." She told him. Oliver smiled."When I saw you that day, I said to myself, what sort of woman is this? You were obviously outnumbered and outm
"The last time I mentioned marrying your daughter, I can still remember the look in your eyes. It was like you would kill me on the spot. What changed?" Jigger asked Viktor as they enjoyed some wine together. Viktor Grey kept his eyes on the cup, and constantly gave a grin of mischief."Well, now I know that you are a reputable man, and that you are capable of taking care of my daughter," he added but jigger laughed."Come on, we both know that I am anything but reputable. Would we be friends if I was reputable?" He asked Viktor."I don't know. I guess not." Viktor Grey responded and then looked at the bodyguards and the car that had brought jigger to his house. He could not help but wonder how exactly jigger got his wealth."So, out with it. How did you make the money? The last time we spoke, you barely had anything. So, what changed?" He asked jigger who drank again from the cup. Then he gazed at Viktor Grey and smiled."Do you remember Mario? I told you that I met him in Paris duri
Every inch of Mia's being told her not to meet Viktor Grey. She should not even be interested in whatsoever he has to say, but as Mia grabbed the car keys, she knew that she was perhaps signing up for something more, and that could be something that will land her in trouble eventually."Open the gate" she called to the security man as she drove towards the gate. There was a reason why Oliver no longer used automated gates, he wanted to control the inflow into the mansion. The gate opened and she drove out into the streets with full speed.Mia soon got to the museum with so many questions in her mind. How was she supposed to answer them all? And why did he even need to see her? As soon as she parked the car, she stepped out into the museum and observed some of the structures there. They were grand, truly grand, and for a lover of art such as herself, she found them very intriguing."Mia," she heard a familiar voice call out to her. Mia sighed and turned around to see Viktor Grey stand
