"An assassination bank? What do you mean?" Mia asked the editor and he smiled. She was obviously not in the mood to entertain whatever silly ideas that he was about to share

"I used to love that face. I can't even remember how many nights I'd wake up just to see you working on a case. You would be so focused that you would not even see that I am awake. Those were great times, mia." The editor said to her and she sighed.

"But they did not last." She stated

"They did not last because you did not allow it. I was willing for us to build a life together. I did everything I could for you. I guided you through the early days of your career. What more do you want?" He asked her and frowned.
