Fifty five

Rebecca sighed as she sat on the roadside. She chuckled when she thought of how miserable her life was. How dare Oliver send her out? Rebecca felt a wave of anger come upon her and she was not going to let Oliver defeat her. She picked up a phone and dialed a number. The number rang, and someone picked up the call.

"Yes?" She heard Viktor Grey's voice say from the other side.

"I'm stranded. I need a place to stay." She said to Viktor who did not say a thing. Rebecca counted her breath through the silence before she scoffed.

"Won't you even say anything?" She asked Viktor Grey.

"I am not in the mood to entertain a visitor tonight. You can find somewhere else to stay. I'll speak with you in the morning." Viktor added.

"A visitor? I am your daughter. I am your own flesh and blood. How can you call me a visitor?" Rebecca's voice was starting to break. What was happening? She felt the world collapsing on her.

"So you claim. I am yet to verify your facts my own way." Viktor told her.
