Sixty three

Serveral dignitaries troped into the large hall that Oliver had built specifically for his party. The hall was gigantic, and stood at the centre of an open space in St Lambert's City. There were several lightnings and all seemed to flicker and reflect the greed and dirt of the people inside the room.

But what actually caused the whispers was that even in the hall, dressed beautifully as well, were several homeless people. They ran around eating as much as they could and that made the rich folks stare at the in disgust. None of them offered to help some of the homeless establish a better future. They all glared at them like vermin.

"Are you still with us on this?" Stefano asked Gerald as they drank from the expensive red wine that was in their hands. The wine tasted very nice.

"What do you mean If I'm still with you? I have been with you from the very beginning. Why would I back down now?" Gerald retorted. He did not like Stefano's tone.
