Fifty-Three

The pain surged through Lyon and he shook his head as he closed his eyes. The boss wouldn’t stop smiling in victory but Lyon had another plan.

He could feel his body healing around the knife but all he had to do was find a way to get the knife out of his stomach.

Why did he let his guard down? Is this what is going to happen if he wasn’t always aware of things going on around him?

With a smirk, Lyon looked back up at the boss and the boss was confused, he couldn’t understand what was going on.

He had just stabbed Lyon, how come he didn’t look hurt?

“You know, one would think you’re smart enough to know that it would take more than a blunt knife to end my life.” Lyon sneered.

“You could’ve tried something else and see if that worked but a knife?” Lyon tutted as he smiled at the boss.

“I can’t die because you stabbed me with a knife! I have faced worse!” He yelled before kicking the boss.
