ONCE BULLIED: LYON ARMSTRONG IS BACK.

Elen knew that Lyon was curious and wanted to know more about his parents but she didn't know much about them either and she didn’t like the fact that she was going to break his hope.

“I don’t know where they are, Lyon,” Elen explained as she sighed and Lyon’s face fell. He was disappointed because for the first time in years, he saw someone that knew his parents but she didn’t really know anything.

“You shouldn’t have mentioned them if you didn’t know anything about them or where they are.” Lyon said with a low voice, his hope was high before but now it had been broken.

“I know that you want to know a lot of things about your parents but what I can tell you about them is limited because I don’t know much myself.” Elen explained to Lyon.

“They have been missing for ten years and no one has heard anything about them since then but I could feel your amulet.” She continued as she touched the amulet and it brought out a bright light.

“It was activated just some days ago and that was how I was able to find you because as soon as it got activated, I could tell where you were and so I came here.” She paused for a while.

Lyon didn’t look like he understood or even believed what she was saying although it was all interesting, he looked lost and needed more explanation.

“Moving on, I came here to protect you,” Elen started after a while of silence and Lyon didn't see a reason why the girl came to protect him.

Since he fell off the bridge and woke up from what seemed like a coma to him, he could feel that he could now protect himself, he wasn’t so weak anymore.

“Your parents’ identity was a top secret that no one knew about so no one even knew that they had a son until your amulet awakened.”

“Before they left, it was like they knew they were unlikely to come back or it was going to take them so long to be back so they left you two things.” Elen said and Lyon’s eyes brightened.

He was more than curious, he wanted to know what his parents left for him before they went to wherever they are now.

“What are those things?” Lyon asked and the girl nodded as she pointed to the amulet, indicating that it was part of what they left.

“First thing they left you is that amulet, you must have felt its extremely magical and powerful power. When it awakened, it saved your life once and filled you with so many unknown powers.” She explained.

Chris was confused, he felt the power and Elen was right when she said that the amulet saved him because he was supposed to be dead by now but he doesn’t know anything about the power.

He had no idea how he was going to use the power, how to control it and the basic things that people with powers are supposed to know, he doesn’t know any of this.

“But this power,” Lyon said, “I can’t control or use it, I felt it earlier and it was like I was going out of control and out of my mind.” He confessed to the girl but she only smiled.

“I understand and it’s normal to feel that way because it’s your first time using this kind of power,” Elen comforted him, “I will teach you, it’s part of the reason I’m here.” She assured him and Lyon sighed.

“Will I be as good as you are? Will I be able to fight and beat up guys like Michael because they annoy me?” Lyon asked and Elen laughed.

“You might even be better than me, don’t set your bar too low.” Elen told him and Lyon nodded.

“Then what is the second thing?” Lyon asked, his curiosity taking over him again and Elen smiled, she knew that the second thing Lyon’s parents left for him would be a surprise.

“They left some money.” She answered and Lyon’s mouth opened in surprise, he couldn’t believe that his parents left some money for him.

“Money?” Lyon asked in shock, “how much did they leave?” He asked again but Elen didn’t say anything, she wanted it to be a big surprise.

She took Lyon’s hand and they both walked downstairs, heads turned as some people even took pictures of Lyon and the gorgeous girl.

Everyone on the campus couldn’t believe that Lyon was with such a beautiful girl, they murmured amongst each other as Lyon and the girl walked past them.

Some people wanted to meet Lyon and ask if the girl was his girlfriend but no one could go near him because they felt like the girl could be some big shot.

Lyon and Elen walked to the gate of the university, Lyon was still confused, he was expecting Elen to have told him the amount of money they left but she didn’t say anything.

They didn’t wait for too long when a luxurious limousine stopped in front of them, Lyon’s mouth opened as he took in the sight of the beautiful car, he had never gotten to see such a gorgeous car in close quarters before.

Everyone in the campus exclaimed while others talked about how the car was worth millions of dollars and it was stopping in front of Lyon and the girl.

“It must be the girl, Lyon is a wretched man, he can’t ride in a car like that.” People gossiped between each other but Elen didn’t pay them any heed.

She walked to the car and pressed the key, the car unlocked and the door opened. Lyon was more than shocked, his eyes were dazzling as he looked at the car.

He took a peek into the car because he was scared of entering and staining it but he had no idea that he was going to be riding in it with Elen.

Elen looked at him and smiled softly, “get in the car with me, let’s go.” She invited him.
