Kelvin was feeling nervous despite knowing that there was nothing for him to be nervous about, he was going to have Elen with him and some other notable officers.

He just couldn’t help but worry about giving Elen too many problems, they’d made a promise to keep work strictly work so whenever they’re both out on the same mission, Elen was his superior.

His palm was sweaty and even Elen noticed just how nervous he had gotten, she understood but comfort is one thing she can’t afford to give him right now.

“If you’re feeling nervous, Abott, you can just sit this one out,” Elen said strictly, she’s the commander, the captain and has to act like one.

“We don’t need a shaky officer among us,” she added, her gaze locked on him and she felt bad for talking to him like that but Kelvin didn’t take any offense.

He had instead adjusted his stance and stopped both hands to his side while also sweeping all of his worry under the rug.
