They all got inside and Akira was already there, waiting for them to come in with a smile plastered on his face.

He was like a father finally getting to welcome his son back home and seeing Lyon hale and hearty warmed his soul.

“Welcome back, Chosen.” He greeted with a smile and even Lyon just couldn’t believe how long it had been since he last physically saw Akira.

Relief washed over him because the man looked so fragile and Lyon couldn’t help but worry even though he knew that he shouldn’t.

Akira still reeked of strength for an old man and Lyon was more than happy to see that he was doing fine.

“I hope your training wasn’t too—" Akira didn’t get to finish what he was saying because Lyon threw himself at the old man, eliciting a laugh out of him.

“I might appear strong but don’t you forget I’m an old man and my better days are behind me already.” Akira laughed and Lyon joined in.
