Chelsey was surprised to hear that someone like Lyon ever lived in the slum in his life. His house looked too good for that and he also looked too sophisticated.She stopped in her tracks as she turned to look at him, making Lyon stop suddenly too. Chelsey nodded, hearing Lyon talk about his personal life experience was sort of liberating for her.She had many more questions and since she was already asking him questions, she thought that she could ask more.“Also, Lyon, I wanted to ask if—““There will be no more room for questions, I’m sorry.” Abraham said before Chelsey was able to ask her question.He had been listening to Lyon talk almost all night and he knew that he could be feeling some pain as he remembers everything he went through but would be keeping it to himself.The last thing Abraham wanted was for Chelsey to open up a wound that was already healing so he made up his mind that he wouldn’t allow her to ask anymore questions.Chelsey’s face fell because she knew that the question she wanted to ask wasn’t really personal but she knew that Abraham knows best. “Master has been through a lot today already, even you too and I’ll suggest that you both rest instead of talking like there’s no tomorrow. “I know that you mean well but you still need to be careful,” Abraham said and Lyon nodded.“There’s a lot you don’t know about this sick and twisted world and I just want you to know that there are enemies everywhere.” He finished.Lyon’s eyebrow raised, he had never had people come after him to an extent that he was going to say he had enemies.He thought about what Abraham said and noticed that some people have been against him since he activated his amulet’s powers.“What do you mean?” He asked and Abraham smirked before telling him that he shouldn’t worry about it for now.“All I want to say is that there are lots of people after you,” Abraham responded, “you have a power that no one can contend with and a lot of people with powers want that.” He finished.Lyon didn’t think about things like that but now he realized how much he was in danger and decided to be careful.“Anyone could be your enemy and even Chelsey is not excluded.” Abraham added and Lyon added.He agreed with Abrah

Abraham hung the call up and they all waited patiently, Chelsey had no idea what’s going on but she’s made up her mind not to ask questions.They waited for a while and it didn’t take long for Elen to finally show up and Lyon was more than thrilled to start his training.He knew that if he remained focused he was going to be way stronger than most of the people he knew but Elen only laughed.“There’s one thing you have to get rid of if you want us to train you, it’s your pride.” Elen said as if she could hear Lyon’s thoughts and Lyon quickly apologized.Chelsey was happy to see Elen but at the same time she felt a pang of jealousy even though she knew that Elen is Lyon’s cousin.“I know you’re strong but you have to get rid of the thoughts that make you feel like you could never lose.” Elen continued after a while of silence.“Everyone loses, what defers is how you take your loss and I’m glad you’re learning a bit of a lesson and want to get stronger.” She finished lecturing.Lyon bow

Everyone including Lyon was surprised as to how he was able to dodge an attack that he didn’t see coming.He felt a strange energy within him and that made him feel like he was stronger than he was when they started his training but he tried to shake it off.He turned to look at Elen who was still trying to recover from his hit and he looked at Abraham and saw that he was impressed with him.“I’ve gotten faster and my body feels lighter,” Lyon said as he stared at his hand, the light wasn’t there anymore but there was something else.It felt like there was smoke coming from his hand like it was too hot or too cold and he was confused when he looked up to see Elen smiling at him.“What? Are you confused?” Elen asked and Lyon nodded, he was more than confused, he needed answers to all the questions that was running through his mind.“Yes, I’m confused,” he finally gave a vocal answer, “it’s been days and we haven’t really been training.” He added.“You think you haven’t been training?”

Lyon was surprised because he didn't know why Elen was congratulating but he felt happy because he knew that he must have done well.Elen got closer to him and tried to stab him sneakily but he caught her hand again and hit the knife out of her hand.“Are you trying to kill me?” He asked in terror but she only bursted out laughing as she clapped for him.She was impressed with how far he has come and how strong he’d gotten so she removed the blindfold and clapped for him.“You’ve done really well, Lyon,” she said and when she moved, Lyon was able to see the pen and when he closed his eyes it didn’t drop to the ground until he thought about it.“You can control anything with your mind and if you do as much as think of someone you want dead, the person would be dead instantly.” She explained.Who would have thought that he had a power like this?“Just to be sure that you’re as strong as I assumed, we’re going to try one more time.” Elen said and Lyon agreed with her.She placed the pen

Lyon stared at the message for a while and for a moment he was confused, one, was because he had no idea how to open the message.And two, because he wasn’t sure how the image came to his head in the first place in the form of a laptop screen.His door opened and Abraham came back again, he looked like he forgot something and he wasn’t seeing what Lyon was seeing.“Abraham, wait!” Lyon said as he stood up to meet Abraham who had come to pick up his phone that he forgot.“You’re not seeing what I’m seeing, right?” Lyon asked and Abraham looked around for a while before looking back at Lyon.“I can see your room and everything else, what do you mean?” Abraham asked and Lyon sighed, he knew now that Abraham couldn’t see it.“Nothing, actually, I just wanted to know if you can see this but it’s fine if you can’t.” Lyon said before walking back to his bed, confused.“Goodnight, Abraham.” He said and Abraham went out. He was filled with so much terror as he stared at the snake, he could see the name on its head and the amount of its strength. ‘Name: King Viper. Strength: 100%.
