“How is he?” Asher asked, they’ve all been waiting for over five hours and no one, not even Akira had said anything about Abraham’s condition until now.

“H— He’s not going to die, is he?” Asher added when Akira and a few doctors on the medical team came to them.

The thought of losing his father before he even got the chance to apologize to him was eating him up. He had lost his mother, he didn’t want to lose his father too.

Akira sighed and the silence in the air was deafening, all of them were holding their breath and hoping that they were going to get good news from Akira but he didn’t look like he had any good news planned.

His brows were drawn together and furrowed, he had lines on his forehead that indicated that he was just as worried as everyone else.

He looked at one of the doctors who only nodded and stepped forward, she opened the paper she was holding and looked up at Asher who already had tears welled up in his eyes.
