“I knew you were fine, you know, it’s going to take more than that to actually hurt you but I was so worried, I thought you were dead but I knew you weren’t.”

Chelsey rambled on, she was barely thinking as she kept talking while Lyon was trying to wrap his head around what she was trying to say.

Her head was on his shoulder and it didn’t take long for him to notice just how wet his shoulder had gotten, she had been crying while trying to express herself at the same time.

He knew that this was what the Sovereign King was talking about, the others were good with being reasonable with the way they felt when he wouldn’t wake up.

They knew he needed the rest and so knowing that he’s still alive was more than enough for them but Chelsey was different, he could always feel her presence.

He had to fight against his will to actually wake up because he wanted to learn more from the Sovereign King.

Smiling to himself, Lyon pulled her away from him and he saw just how red her eyes had
