CHAPTER 14 FAIR CHANCE?

Nate looked at Erica with a small smile on his lips. He signaled to her that she had nothing to worry about.

"Isn't that fair?" he asked Erica's grandmother again. Right now, his only plan was to get her to change her mind and make sure she was on board with the project.

"You'd better shut up, you stupid loser! You're not needed here to give your opinion. Get out of here!"

"His words even sound stupid and nonsensical."

"It's good that Nancy is in charge of this project and not Erica."

"She can't even take care of her husband, let alone a project of this magnitude. Our company depends on this project, we can't make it a game," said Erica's worried uncle.

"I'll keep quiet if you don't agree with my opinion. But trust me, it's much better to see who's good at managing the company," Nate said, again trying to make sure Erica's grandmother changed her mind. This was the only way he could help Erica get this project, instead of Nancy.
