Chapter 17. PROTECTING HUSBAND

"Enough! You've gone too far, Nancy," Erica exclaimed with a stern tone and a sharp glare at Nancy. She gripped her wrist tightly as she was about to slap Nate across the face.

"Let go of my hand!" snapped Nancy.

Erica immediately let go of her hand roughly, making her grimace in pain. She stroked her wrist while complaining.

"You must be out of your mind!"

"You're the one who's crazy," Erica snapped. "I may have kept quiet when you were rude to me, but this is my husband. So, please behave yourself and don't go around judging people because you're nobody," she warned Nancy.

Nancy looked surprised by Erica's attitude of respecting and protecting her husband even though he was not a rich man to rely on.

Nancy rolled her eyes lazily. "What a loser," she hissed, still unhappy. She glanced sharply at Nate who was standing next to Erica.

"Stop cursing him, Nancy. Or I won't stay silent. And if you dare touch him again, you'll really have to deal with me!" she threatened. She stared intentl
