Enemy

The next day, the city of Fischer had changed completely. The tension against the country of Aachen where Mark had come from was a bad sign. No one had recovered from the incident with the magic that situation left behind.

Paul looked out the window to see if the young king had sent guards or something to take him to some dungeon, but he saw a woman approaching his house. It was the teacher, she was in a white robe with two guards accompanying her. The people walking around that place at that hour were watching what was going on.

The black-haired boy did not know if it was good or bad news, but he was obliged to go downstairs to avoid misunderstandings or that his family would be in trouble. He left the room and quickly went down the zigzagging stone stairs. Until he reached the living room, and before they knocked on the door, he opened it.

There stood that woman and both guards.

"Paul, At this time I sponsored you, so from now on you must help me at school."
