When Dylan was done feeding on the girl's blood, and he was sure that his thirst was satisfied, he turned around to face his son's wife, Linda Boston, with a triumphant smile.

Dylan wondered when people would learn that he was unstoppable. He might not be a god or wield dark magic, but he was a god among other people. They need to fear him. They need to respect him and pay taxes to him, just like they were doing to Sebastian.

Dylan smirked and moved forward an inch toward Linda Boston, who was still sitting on the earth and whimpering. Dylan pities her because of the move she made. He had smelled her scent from miles away. He knew the moment she stepped foot at the entrance to the cave.

He won't miss her scent for anything. Why? Because he had feelings for her.
