Chapter 21

King Cassius was shocked beyond explanation at the scene in front of him. Ever since the war between the ancient gods and his people, he had never received visitors. He didn't need to go to the outside world before he knew that Mordor was extinct to them. It was forgotten, ruined, and abandoned.

King Cassius, a half-rotten skeleton that was brought back to life with the help of Lord Darius during his reign on his throne, took a small step toward Dylan and looked down at him in awe. The general and Orion also followed him closely.

"Human!" King Cassius bellowed, cracked his neck, and maggots poured out. "You located this place, how?"

Dylan smirked and stood proud. He's a king after all. A ruler, a commander of thousands of wolves, a warlord. His past achievement flushed in his head, followed by pride. Dylan won't fall at the feet of a skeleton, not now and not anytime soon. He was meant to rule everything, and everyone.

"I seek a private session with you, Cassius," Dylan demanded.
