Chapter 20: A Mother's Tears

"Baby, I'm so sorry if this is the only way to get you out of the family," I uttered, my tears started streaming down my face. "I've missed you so much, did you know that? How have you been? Did anyone in that evil family hurt you, huh?"

Only God knows I was too over the moon the moment I saw his innocent face and started to sense the warmth of my son's body. His innocent smell never changed. He smells like an angel with no trace of wickedness.

Finally, my son and I were reunited after being not able to see each other for weeks. And with just one touch of his warm skin, all the sorrows and pains disappeared in the blink of an eye. He erased everything that bothers me.

"What are we going to do now, baby?" I asked again as soon as I set him on the seat next to me. Looking a the glass wall across from me, I immediately thought of the best thing to do before I could start the engine of the car.
