Chapter 4: The Ghost Will Coming

Richard tried to find the book he was looking for in a row of bookshelves. He seemed to be trying to remember where the book he wanted to find was. Maybe the book told the history of Egypt that he wanted to read, or maybe someone else had taken it.

He was confused about whom to ask, yet no one wanted to help him. Moreover, the library was empty; there was only him, and Richard had to look for it alone.

Richard swallowed his saliva. He began to see, one by one, the titles that were on a row of bookshelves. Again and again, there was no title for the book he was looking for. He just gave up, and maybe the book had been borrowed by someone else.

But he heard someone behind him. Richard turned around now that the girl was right in front of him. It turned out that he was the first to find the book he had been looking for all this time.

Maybe Richard had only looked in one place, while Lisa had searched all over the library. Lisa's hand started to give Richard the book. "You were looking for this book, weren't you?"

Richard could only nod his head. But strangely, Lisa actually put it in the highest place. Even though he couldn't reach it, the 168 cm tall man could only stay silent. He was confused about what to do to get the book.

"Besides, being spoken to is silent," said Lisa, who immediately left the young man alone in the library.

Oh my gosh, I just found the book. Why did I even put it there, anyway? "asked Richard, who started to take the stool to get the book. "You know, I'm just not that tall. How can I try it?" Richard replied with disappointment.

Then Richard began to pick up one of the books among a row of books. He started looking for a seat far away on the far right, but suddenly a strange sound came. Again and again, the door started slamming loudly. What's wrong?

Richard didn't know what was going on, and soon the library lights started to flicker. Richard started to get up from his bed, holding the book in his hand, then he looked to the right, left, front, and back to see if there was a strange figure who wanted to haunt him.

But suddenly, there were goosebumps on his neck. There was a glimpse of a female ghost standing at the end of the door. The figure had chest-length hair, with wet hair covered in mud. She was wearing a red dress that was already sturdy. Now he began to stare at Richard with anger.

Richard could only stand still, wanting to leave, but couldn't. The ghost slowly approached the young man. Richard looked back at the figure. But soon the ghost's eyes began to blacken, and there was a stench there. The pores on his face began to open and worms began to come out of them.

Richard could only cover his mouth and nose tightly. He wanted to scream, but no one believed him. So what should he do now?

His heart beat faster, his breath began to pant, and sweat began to trickle down his forehead. "Please..please forgive me." Richard said to the figure in front of him.

The female ghost was still staring intently at him. Why do you pretend like that in front of that girl?" asked the figure angrily. The ghost was so angry with Richard that Richard seemed unable to deal with the ghost.

Richard just remembered that it was the ghost that had been nearby. To be precise, the one that was sticking to Lisa. Moreover, Richard also never looked at Lisa, only because of the presence of that scary figure. But when he entered this library, he also did not see a situation as dire as it was today. And after Lisa left, the ghost slowly began to appear and appeared in front of her.

Slowly, he began to swallow his saliva and turned away from the female ghost figure. He didn't want many people to wonder about the blood that would stick to his clothes. He didn't want to chase him away. He'd better let the ghost run away.

The light flashed so fast, Richard was still staring at the ghost's face in amazement. Especially when he started to see the worms coming out of his face, it was so disgusting. His eyes were getting blacker and dripping to the bottom of the floor. Strangely, the worm slowly got smaller and disappeared. But it only leaves a stain.

Richard tried to calm himself down, looking back at the ghostly face of the woman.

"What's wrong with you? Why do you have to stick it?" asked Richard boldly.

The female ghost was annoyed with Richard's words; she was getting more and more rebellious. His nose began to scratch his ears. Richard could only be silent as he watched the woman's nose bleed so badly.
