Conversations

The next day the school was a little calmer because of the panic caused by the disappearance of Luan in the river.

Room 2 of the first year did not have classes because of the situation.

At the central clinic, the doctors gave the report early in the morning, an emergency doctor walked to the people who were waiting for Luan. His two cousins Hana and Henry

-He has some small cuts from the dragging, and a lot of water entered his lungs, in the early morning it could all be expelled, but there are several things that do not add up, but in spite of everything he is fine, he can receive visitors.

The first person to enter was Hana. Upon entering the room, she approached her cousin.

- Do you remember what happened yesterday?

He touched his head and answered her.

-I remember being thrown into the water, feeling someone fall on top of me and hitting me on a rock. Then I remember Liz and Alison.

-They saved you, no one can explain how they managed to find you.

- Him? Where is he?

-Possibly in the bedroom, he looked exhausted, tell me Luan what do you think of your friend?

-I think he's a great person, even though he prefers to be alone and isolate himself from everything.

- And Liz?

- Eh... her?

-She's the girl who talked to me at school.

-You don't think there's something wrong with Liz.

-Eh... -Why do you say that?

-Besides you, Alison and Lucia, she doesn't have any other friends, even though she's a communicative person.

-It's not necessary, being friends with everyone at school, I don't understand your concern," he replied rather annoyed.

The doctor saw that Luan was a little upset and intervened in the conversation.

-I am sorry, I think you should leave, it seems that your relative's vital signs are quite altered. For now he will be under observation, if everything remains well he will be able to leave in the evening.

Hana and Henry left the room somewhat confused, but they accepted the man's decision.

In the afternoon hours Alison and Hana had arranged to talk in a park near the school and they both went to the agreed place.

They sat down on a bench in the park.

- Why did you choose this place? -asked Hana.

-It's too busy in the dormitories and I wanted a quiet place.

-Tell me, why did you and Luan become so close?

-We met near a train station, and we bumped into each other, after that we met at school and stayed in the same room.

- Mmmm.... I know it's none of my business, but why among all the students did you become friends with Luan and Liz too?

- Let's say I made a bet about him, because of his condition and I needed him.

Hana got angry when she heard that and got up from her chair. She looked at the black-haired boy and spoke to him.

- What kind of bet?

-I'm sorry I can't tell you that.

She got a little nervous and asked him again.

- Does he know?

-Yes.

- You became friends with Luan because he was my cousin, right?

-No, I didn't even know they were related, I didn't want to bother you, I'm sorry?

-It's okay, just keep him out of trouble, that's all.

She tried to leave when she heard that, she had nothing to reproach him for, after she had saved her cousin and tried to leave.

-Hana, I appreciate you.

-Alison, let's leave it at that. You already made everything clear to me, don't worry, we are friends, aren't we?

-Yes, I will prevent something similar to Luan from happening to him.

Alison was totally expressionless, while Hana, who was a little uncomfortable with the conversation, was talking and tried to end the subject.

-Thank you for taking care of Luan, if you and Liz hadn't gone to look for him, he wouldn't be alive.

-Don't worry, I'll keep helping him, but I want to know what he was like before he entered high school.

Hana, seeing the change of conversation, slowly changed her expression.

-Well, he was quite distant with other people, almost as he is now, because he did not show progress like all his classmates, so they left him aside in each course where he was, and he managed to pass each year, only for his theoretical results of the school. He argued that he was a victim of an attack by a group of people with systems and was left with sequels for that.

-I understand, but did he ever have any friends?

-I think so, although it was nothing very significant to him.

Alison, getting up from the bench and trying to say goodbye, felt that the conversation was no longer important, but Hana ducked her head and said to her.

-You can't see Luan.

- Why?

-The school board asked him to be isolated a few hours ago.

- Is that serious?

-Because of what happened. I'm sorry, for now, neither you nor your two girlfriends can see him.

-Hana, neither of them are my girlfriends, they are classmates. Are you jealous?

-I only say what I see. You'll make those two girls fight over you, just like you did with me.

Alison got up from the bench and replied appropriately.

-I've already tried to explain that to you many times, but if you want to think that I used them. All right, I'm not going to talk to you about it anymore.

Three days later Luan was discharged from the hospital, the release took longer than they thought. He returned to school in the morning hours. He was notified that no one was going to visit him by decision of the board of directors.

The first thing he did was to go to the board room, because he was ordered to do so.

When he got there, he found Snaider waiting for him.

-Hello, Luan, you look more cheerful.

- Why did you do all this?

-It wasn't me, nor the director, it was the school's external board of directors. You see, the school received a visit from government delegates because of your incident, this was not taken very well by that council.

- External board of trustees? what's that, I've never heard of it.

Snaider got up from his chair and tried to explain the situation better.

- Basically, they are the owners of the school, they contributed to its creation and they prevent large-scale problems from affecting it. The government sometimes delays in providing the necessary resources, even though it is a private school, many things are needed, which the state is obligated to provide. They are in charge of keeping everything in order to avoid possible traumas. -They make separate decisions that must be followed by the director.

-Ok, but it was an incident, which can happen on any ride, why would the government take such an interest in me?

-I don't know if you haven't felt it but society has excluded and denigrated all level 1, as well as people with system, in some schools there have been suicides and the government is trying to prevent things like that from happening anymore.

-But that was just an accident," said Luan, somewhat annoyed.

-The government didn't take it that way, they think it was an act of bullying and maybe Kenny will be investigated. Anyway, the council didn't like that, so it is likely that someone will try to do something similar with you, they isolated you because they probably wanted to expel you, but they didn't find enough reasons to do it, for now they will only wait for the results of the test failure and they will take you out for not measuring up," answered Snaider.

-Just for that, no ....

-Luan, you have the lowest level among the almost 500 people who took the exam to enter the school, you were chosen among all the level 3, because Alison talked to our father so that they would accept you.

The boy was silent for several seconds and said.

-So the council doesn't consider me worthy to be in this school?

-Yes, they're just waiting for you to take the tests, so they can write a letter and kick you out because you don't measure up.

-You don't have to kick me out, I'll go by myself.

-Don't be so silly, they expect you to do badly, but they don't know that you train separately. You just have to be in the average of the test like everyone else, it's not a big deal.

-I'm not going to stay where they don't want me.

-If you leave it will be the same in every school they will always look down on you, here's Alison and I will help you.

- So you'll leave?

-I will think about it," said Luan, a little annoyed.

Luan left the council room and headed for the dormitories.

As they walked, everyone was watching him, because of what had happened on the walk.

Saul, the hall representative called him.

- Luan!

He turned around and waited for him.

-Hello, are you feeling well? -asked his companion.

-Yes," he answered.

- Do you still have leave of absence?

-Yes.

-In a week is the test, everyone is training, you missed several days so you must catch up, well later Alison will explain you better, I'll say goodbye, I have to go. Bye.

While Saul was walking away, Luan was thinking, one of the few who looks at me as his partner.
