Incident

They both walked away from that place and arrived at one of the coliseums.

- Can't you fight them?

-From their height and maturity they look like third years, and with those hoods I'm not sure if they are really students. I can't fight several upperclassmen if they are, although it might buy time for you to look for a teacher.

Alison looked a little pale. She was losing her strength at that point.

-I can't leave you alone, you look a little bad, maybe it's because of what they threw, apparently I had something.

-It's better that you don't get hurt, for trouble, I can hold on, you're used to it.

-Don't be stubborn -I took him by the shoulder and we tried to get to the blocks where we were receiving classes, but they caught up with us. They were in front of us.

-What do they want?" asked Alison.

-Lombardi says hi," said one of the guys.

Luan began to wonder about that name, he thought he had heard it somewhere else, but the situation didn't give him time to think any more.

One of the guys moved so fast that he could not see well at what moment he arrived so fast to them. He tried to punch Alison in the face, but he crossed his arms to avoid taking the full impact.

The other guy was not far behind and almost at the same instant he hit him in the stomach.

Alison fell to the ground on her knees.

-Stand up," said one of the guys.

They seemed to really want to hurt Alison, it was not a simple fight. Luan thought about going for help, but maybe it would be too late, Luan took a dagger he had and attacked one of them from behind.

He screamed and touched his back, trying to remove it. It was a moment where the white-haired guy was afraid. He thought about using a weapon from his system, but he hesitated a lot. He had never done anything like that before, but he was not going to leave his partner there.

One of the guys, seeing what Luan had done, responded with an elbow in the neck. He immediately fell to the ground and hit him again, but this time he kicked him in the face.

Alison was just recovering from the blow he had received, the guy realized this and went to finish him off, forgetting about Luan.

-It's nothing personal, but he is very upset by your audacity. Let this be a warning to you that bureaucrats are not to be trifled with.

I unsheathed a sword and pointed it at his hand.

Alison got up quickly and struggled with the man. He responded immediately, with one of his hands he pushed him to the wall and tried to choke him. They both dropped their swords.

In that way the boy with crimson eyes began to lose consciousness, little by little.

While this was happening, Luan got up and picked up the weapon that was on the floor and

He immediately let go of Alison.

He immediately let go of Alison and with his other arm he hit the white-haired boy in the face.

I stood up.

- You don't feel anything, you should be writhing in pain from the arm.

He pulled the dagger out of his arm as it bled.

-I'd better cut off your hand to see if you feel anything.

He took that sword and headed towards Luan.

Suddenly a watchman appeared at the door, observed what was happening and called someone.

The guy with the sword, had no choice, and helped his partner to get up, as he looked very affected by his injuries, and they ran out of the coliseum.

Alison tried to get up from the ground and looked at Luan. He suddenly collapsed on the ground.

[...]

Alison and Luan were taken to the infirmary after what happened in the coliseum. They were helped by the watchman and a teacher. The crimson-eyed boy was sitting next to another a stretcher where his partner, who had been knocked unconscious, was lying. Suddenly he began to wake up.

-Eh..... Alison, what happened, why are we here," he said a little confused.

-I was attacked by two so-called students and you intervened," he answered quickly when he saw the reaction of his partner when he woke up.

-Ah..., yes I think...I...I remember.

Alison touched him on the face, trying to see the severity of his partner's injuries.

-I had an incident with one of the society's fringe groups and lost sensibility. I damaged some nerves, plus my slow development because of this, not that I'm weak, but it's hard to explain it to other people," he said.

-So you don't feel shame, sadness and .....

-I do feel them, the only thing I lost was the feeling of pain.

-I understand, but the doctors didn't tell you anything?

-They told me that it was impossible to reconstruct the nerves I lost and there was nothing to be done for me.

[...]

Minutes later Alison came out of the infirmary.

Her brother was waiting for her in the hallway, leaning against a wall.

-I don't know why you got that kid into your trouble, but you should back off that bet. Our father told me everything you did. He doesn't belong here, he shouldn't even have been accepted into this school, you made a bet with those old men to get rid of the lawsuit that blackmailed you into coming here. Anyway, I'm not going to do anything to get him removed, but you should know that it's hard for him to improve his stats like any other student, he's a level one much weaker than anyone else, you're wasting your time with him.

-As usual you, you shouldn't be like that, you are the president of the school. Maybe he is not the kind of student you would want, but at least he shows the will to improve like you did, remember you are also handicapped, and look how far you got.

-It's not the same, you're crazy, we'll never be the same.

-Why does it affect you so much then, several students got in here for political favors and nobody says anything, but it bothers you that someone with the same condition as you shows up.

Snaider grabbed Alison's shirt.

-The problem isn't that, you're falling behind, you should train more to finally get up to the level of a sophomore. You and everyone in your class almost got left out because of that useless guy. Do you want to damage your life by losing this bet?

In the middle of their discussion two students appeared, who were somewhat impressed by the president's loss of countenance.

When he noticed the presence of these students, he took a breath and tried to calm down, and as he was leaving, he spoke to them.

-It's okay, I see that no matter how much I tell you, you will not change your mind, I will not do anything to expose your weakness, but concentrate on training....

[...]

The next day Alison packed her bags and left in the early morning. Luan returned to class as if nothing had happened.

Everything looked normal as if the absence of one of the members of this class didn't matter. The empty chair did not feel.

Only at the end of the school day, Snaider appeared next to it. He seemed to be waiting for someone, and only moved when he saw Luan.

-I see that you want to get better, but it's impossible, kid. I did some research and you have declining development. Why don't you drop out of this school and stop warming that chair?

-That's not your problem," he replied.

-Okay, I see you won't stop holding Alison back. Then come and train with me.

- Why did you want to train with me?

- Isn't it obvious? You're holding Alison back. Instead of training with people stronger than him, he wastes his time with you and he doesn't even know how to train you, he just puts you in a fight with you, ignoring that you and he are totally different people.

-If you want to learn things that will help you improve properly follow me, if not, you'd better leave the school, so Alison won't waste her time with you anymore.

Snaider leaned against the wall waiting for the boy's answer.

Luan clenched his fists and stood in the hallway for a few seconds. Until he decided to follow the president.

They both looked each other in the eyes.

-I see you've already decided. .... Come with me, we will go outside the school
