The heavy door creaked shut behind the man, leaving Philip and Jessica enveloped in the suffocating darkness once more. Jessica clutched Philip's arm, her fingers trembling. The man’s parting words echoed ominously in their minds, heightening their sense of dread.

"Philip, what are we going to do?" Jessica whispered, her voice barely audible, laced with desperation.
