Chapter 39

Alan came out of the building and applauded Dylan who had successfully fought off all his men.

"You were great too. But unfortunately it's not over yet." Alan pointed to ten people who were wearing masks over their faces. "There are ten more left. I don't know if you can handle them all since you're already injured."

Dylan grasped his hands tightly by his sides. The extra 10 people were out of the deal.

"I don't think you have amnesia, but why don't you remember that there were only 23 people in the building? Me, you, Haily, and your 20 men." Dylan pointed at all the new people he was sure would come back to hunt him down. "They're not on the list."

"The point is I'm giving you time until the day changes. Right now there's still enough time to play the game. So I'm adding my men again. Doesn't this sound like a lot of fun?"

"Damn you Alan! You cheat at every turn. I wonder how you became an athlete when on the field you stand for fair play."
