Xavier's anger peaked when he heard the taunts coming out of Brandon's mouth. I don't know how Brandon was able to buy it for twice the original price, but Xavier would still try to take the property back.

"I'll buy it for three times as much," Xavier offered. "Now sell it back to me."

Brandon pulled the corners of his lips up, like his plan was going to work this time. "Three times as much? Do you think that's a fair price?"

Xavier sighed, he seemed to be thinking hard, until finally a heavy sigh escaped his mouth. "Alright, 5 times."

Brandon seemed to nod his head, pretending to think hard. "That seems like an appropriate price." Brandon held out his hand, "Is it a deal?"

Xavier looked at Brandon's hand, there was actually something quite heavy for him. But his pride was too high just to undo what he had said. He wondered if it would be okay this time. "Of course, Deal!" Xavier accepted Brandon's hand despite a slight hesitation.
