2. Beginning of a new era (2)

         “Ahhhhh.” Daniel’s once dark and rough skin were now light and smooth, his former short black hair were now falling on long reaching his neck length, silky and smooth, looking into the mirror he stared at his fancy and glittering bottle green eyes, though all of these features were an awe, but the one feature that scared him was now his long and pointy ears.

Yeah, he thought of the fact that he reincarnated but it was too impossible since he still looked much like himself, it was just all these chronic changes

What is happening to me?, that’s right the text said an elf, oh no, I’m an elf, I’m no longer a human, my beautiful human race is gone, who am I?, what’s my name.

    All these thought ran through his mind, he was freaking out, he immediately began to sweat profusely which his heart pounded with fear

       «Tension mode detected – A good sleep will be advised»

      «Sleep mode activated – Daniel will now calm down»

    Seeing the swarm text, Daniel fell down unconsciously as he was drifted into a deep sleep.

          Crash!

      Daniel jerked off his sleep as soon as he heard a loud crash of shattered glass, he jumped off from the floor and hurried out of the bathroom into the parlor where he met the glass window of the room shattered into pieces, the day were now bright and bloomy

“What is going on.” He could here the loud scream of commotion outside, he rushed over to the shattered window only to see a huge stone amidst the glass, he stretched his eyes outside and saw crowd of strange people running helter-skelter while other fought violently with clubs and other weapons.

     Thamp! Thamp!

       Two more large stone came flying directly into the room aiming for Daniel’s face, but luckily he was quick enough to dodge it by squatting, he stood upright and began to screen the strange people he was seeing all around.

He glanced at a small young boy who stood under a small cloth shade while holding a small teddy bear on his arm. Though he was a boy but his appearance was not very much of a boy, his skin were thick brown in color while his stomach tore through his shirt due to its unusual size, his eyes and nose were large while his body figure were fat and extremely rough with the huge brown teeth which revealed itself vividly to the outside.

“What is this.” Daniel muttered as he stared at the boy who he once recognized as Michael, an handsome boy with cute brown eyes and a presentable body figure.

       He hurried into his bedroom and picked up a random shirt from his bed which he hastily wore and rushed out of the house into the street

       Crash! Crash!

      Daniel received two violent hit from thrown stone from multiple directions, he began to run on unknown directions trying to avoid the stone hit, there were loud screams, shout and cries coming from the street but very soon he began to here loud shout of fear from everyone who he ran by

“This one has long ears, he is the first kind I’ve seen this morning.”

“What sort of race is this, long ears and glittering eyes, this must be a dangerous creature.”

     Different rumors sprang out of the mouth of those who he came across. Hearing the words, he ruffled his hair and used it to hide his long and pointy ears. He continued running across the road but everywhere seemed to be in total chaos with every one running helter-skelter and fighting violently

      Swoosh!

     A ball of fire flew towards Daniel who immediately jumped into a basket of vegetables in order to escape the flame

 «Unable to form any ability – Companion not found»

A message formed in Daniel’s eyes and immediately faded, he stood up from the ground covered in the liquid of squashed tomatoes and other vegetables, he was panting heavily as he rested his palm in his thigh. Where did that fireball come from, this event was totally going out of control!

“Ahh, look I can throw fire to anyone.” An old lady shouted as a ball of fire floated on her palms, not long after she began to throw it at all direction and this immediately cursed a fire breakout.

      Daniel ran for his life as all the flammable materials or object burnt to ashes, screams and cries echoed in the surrounding as some of the unlucky men and women jumped crazily with this skin slowly burning to ash. Then suddenly an event of abnormal, supernatural War broke out, some people were now uprooting the earth from its surface throwing it madly to all directions, object mysterious flew on the air crashing violently at people it cane across.

……

    Daniel continued running across the street while dodging all the attack that came toward him as possibly as he could, the atmosphere had suddenly became foggy as the wind blew it particles at all directions. If Daniel was to keep running and try escaping the attacks, he would definitely be caught by one of them and suffer a great damage upon himself, so therefore his only choice was to go into the forest.

Daniel diverted on his way into a thin empty road, there were multiple posters glued to the wall which warned of the forest ahead, the royalties had been highly concerned about forest predators and had made this the only pathway that led to it, but though there had been recorded of wild predators in it.

      Getting to the end of the road Daniel met a thin vertical hole on the ground but it did not concern him, he jumped the hold into the forest and stepped on the ground which immediately pressed few inches into the ground making him to stagger onto the ground.

     Clash!

     A loud clanging sound clashed behind Daniel who immediately jumped up from the ground and turn his head behind, through the hole sprang out of swarm of spears which were arranged accordingly with their sharp pincer pointing up, they must be traps set for wild animal who planned to intrude into the territory, but Daniel had to time to praise the work but instead turned his head and began to run deep into the forest, after all what worse could happen here than the max chaos that was going on in the streets.

      Though, the dark trees and sound from the forest were blood curdling but Daniel had to ignore it and try to run as quite as he could in order not to alert any predators.
