Chapter 1 - Burned Marriage Contract

“Liya, I am certain that your pulse is normal and your pressure points are not blocked.” Alex Cole said with a pleading gaze and he slowly placed her hand beside her.

He was surrounded by the four beauties of the medicine village in the hospital’s quadrangle. These beauties were known for their distinct allure and mystical abilities. They were all waiting for him to attend to them.

“Are you sure? I am sure you didn’t check me well because we are in public, how about you come to my room and run an extensive check up on me?” Liya suggested, then she winked at him.

Alex grinned slyly, he was used to getting this sort of love bombing and teasing from the beauties and other students in the medicine village.

Even though he was used to it, it was still a little difficult to resist them because of their charms. They were inarguably the most beautiful women he had ever laid his eyes upon.

“Liya Woods! You are doing too much.”

“Tell her! It is my turn to get examined, stand up and don’t think of having him to yourself!”

Maya took the now empty seat in front of him and he heaved a heavy sigh with a look of helplessness, “Can’t you girls be like the other students? Focus on completing the lessons and stop wasting time messing with me.”

His words did not seem to move any of them as Maya began to raise her skirt up, revealing her fresh thighs.

“Alex , I have been feeling some pains in my leg, please do something about it.”

“His eyes almost popped out of its socket at the sight of what she had just done. They were pushing him to the wall already.

“Dr Cole, you have a letter,” One of the attendants said as he walked in. “The mailman awaits you in the lounge.”

Alex rushed outside as he was happy that he had gotten out of the pickle he was in. He soon returned with a letter in his hand and all of them gathered behind him, curious about what he had received.

While Alex was confused as to who sent him a letter, he was an orphan and he had no close relatives to send him a letter, the family members he had left were not the type to contact him for any reasons.

He unwrapped the letter and his eyes first fell on the seal that came with the letter, he could sense the authoring that it held from without even reading it.

“Alex Cole, I am TheaWalton your fiancee, by the time this litter gets to you, I will be crowned as the first female war god of Mericania. This will only cause a bigger gap between us,”

“I have burned my copy of the marriage contract signed by our parents, I believe that you should do the same on your end. This relationship was never meant to be in the first place.”

Alex sneered, the letter reeked of haughtiness from the way she had ordered him to burn the marriage contract.

“Someone just dumped our Alex .”

“That’s someone I would never have seen coming. A woman dumped our handsome, charming and manly Alex .”

“Is Thea not the one that Master Dustin told you that your late parents arranged for you to marry?”

“She is going to be the first female god in Merici=ana, what’s so special about it when our Alex is a grand lord of medicine and martial arts.”

“I can get revenge for you, Alex , shall I you and bring her limbs and make her crawl in front of you for life.

He chuckled out loud, they had managed to make him relieved as he listened to their ranting.

His Master had told him about Thea but he had never met her. Both His parents and his master were the ones that arranged the marriage a long time ago, he didn’t expect that it would be called out that way.

He could have married any of his fellow students or accepted their numerous invitations to sleep with them but he had declined due to the instructions that his master had given to him.

He had been told that he can’t make a move on any of them unless he had completed the marriage contract.

“What are you going to do now?” Liya asked.

“He is going to go after her. We all know that Alex can never go against master's Dustin’s words.”

“Are you really going to go after her?” Raya faced Alex .”

“Yes, I will leave very soon.” he replied to her.

He had no choice but to visit Thea’s hometown after all the contract stated that he could not annul the marriage or get married without her grandfather's consent. The visit was not to see Thea but her grandfather Thor.

“We can’t let you leave like that.” Liya said then she offered him a golden card. “Take this. This will let you have access to any amount you desire in the world. Let her know that she is just a war god and nothing else.”

“You should have this key instead, it is the only key that can open the nuggets gold reserve vault in the XY bank.” Maya offered. “Wealth will complement your medicine power and your martial arts.” Maya offered.

“My sisters have offered you the best things already, “ So i will give you a pill i recently developed, it will cause women to fall at your feet.” Raya offered.

Freya, the fourth sister of the beauties, brought a pendant with a star, “This is the only thing he needs.”

Everyone went silent as she spoke, Freya was the most quiet of the four sisters and she was the eldest. Everyone respected her so much because of her power and aura that she possessed.

They were surprised that she was offering to give Alex that power, it was worth way more than all the things they had offered him in the first place.

“That necklace represents my presence and wherever you go, you shall command respect. You can go now!

Alex took it from her, “Thank you so much Freya. I am so grateful to the rest of you.” he smiled at them then he returned to his room to pack up for his trip.
