Time flew by, and the seasons changed constantly. Bao was peacefully living the life of a mortal, he would cultivate sometimes or going to a lab to aid others. He would take Yue out on dates on the weekends, Five years have gone.
Bao refined the spirit energy in the stone he acquired from the old man over the course of five years. That old man returned for the ceremony and took whatever was remained in the cup. When Bao and Yue went to the orphanage, they had a reunion with other friends who used to be in the same orphanage.
Chen Luo celebrated his 60th birthday with his entire family, including Lu Feng and his daughter. old Luo's friends were also invited; it wasn't grand, but the atmosphere was upbeat. Old Luo also announced Bao as his daughter's fiancée to everyone, which old Feng and other family members were not startled by because they previously knew. Old Luo did this to inform other guests.
The kellari desert arena's opening was also approaching. One day, Bao received a call from the clear sky pagoda, informing him that the messenger had given them the instructions; the messenger arrived earlier this time due to the kellari desert opening. Then Bao went to visit the old man at the clear sky pagoda. There were more people when he entered the pagoda than at other times. He went straight to the third floor, where the old man stays, and then the two of them went to the soundproof room on the fifth floor.
"What did the messenger told you?"
"The messenger informed us that the kellari desert would open at the end of this year."
"The kellari desert opening will be at the heart of the world's largest desert in the African continent," the old man replied
"You mean in the middle of the Sahara Desert, but where will the arena be? If I'm not mistaken, there should be nothing but sand and no means of transportation."
"I've never been there, but the messenger told us the arena would be underneath the sands," the elderly man explained.
"How many matches will be held?"
"We don't know for sure, but the messenger informed us the battle would last a week," the elderly man said.
"Are only grandmasters permitted to compete? are there going to be a high mortal?"
"No, everyone, including warriors and above, may participate; their opponents will be of similar level."
"I don't know much about the high mortal, but the messenger should likewise be of that rank," the elderly man said.
"Are you sure the messenger is of high mortal rank?" Bao asked
"Yes, the messenger should be at or around that level. After all, I wasn't able to repel even one attack "the elderly man responded
"Will the messenger be present at the opening of the Kellari Desert? and What about the founder?"
"Yes, the messenger will be there ahead of us, but we don't know whether or not the founder will be there,"
"It appears that there are a lot of customers today," Bao added
"Well, it's because of the kellari desert opening, and other families with ancient heritage who haven't joined the organization will also be participating," the elderly man explained.
"Does your organization have any concerns about those individuals leaking that information to governments or others?"
"No, they will not dare to share such information, and even if they do, governments will not intervene," the elderly man responded.
The governments were already thoroughly ingrained in the organization; the founder was something else, able to influence governments while remaining unknown to everybody.
"When are you going to fly there?"
"We'll go a month before the opening; little brother, please consider joining us," the elderly man added.
"Well, I'll tag along," Bao responded.
Initially, Bao planned to travel there to meet with the mysterious master to settle some business, but the presence of the high mortal piqued his interest even more. Bao returned to the mansion after their chat and sat in a meditative posture, observing his mortal core. He used all of the energy stored in that spirit stone, but it wasn't enough to break through, and the next breakthrough would certainly be met with a lightning tribulation, so this location wasn't suitable.
Yue returned later that evening, looking weary. Bao poured her a glass of cool water to sip.
"Yue'er, what happened? You appear weary." Bao asked.
"It's not a big deal, my body feels heated and fatigued occasionally, maybe because I overworked myself," Yue responded.
"You should rest,"
While conversing, Bao noticed Yue's necklace's color had faded slightly; when he presented it to her, it was blood red, but now it was regular red. Others would not be able to tell the difference, but Bao's strong sensibility allowed him to.
"Yue'er, have you recently been in an accident?"
"No, I've never been in an accident."
Bao asked her this because when he refined her jade necklace, he placed his pure energy in those runes, and unless the rune is activated, it shouldn't be able to release those energies, causing the color to fade. The energy he supplied to the rune was equal to the energy from this isolated world's ten peak core formation, but it had now been dissipated to barely half of its original quantity.
[Ghosts? spirits? or a nefarious assassin? No way, it shouldn't be possible. Ghosts and spirits are powerless in this isolated world, and they would not be able to approach her. An assassin could not cause the runes to expend that much energy. So, what was the cause?] Bao pondered to himself.
"Yue'er, let me show you some acupuncture points techniques that should reduce your stress," Bao added
After that, Bao poked a few Acupoints on her back and then the back of her neck & she fell asleep. he carried Yue to her room, before going outside, Bao placed his hand in Yue's chest area and took out the necklace, then again filled the rune with pure energy.
Time flew by once more, it was almost last month of the year, and time for the old man from the pagoda to fly to their destination. Bao was alone in the mansion since Yue and her parents had gone to Japan for a "WHO" program to which every top hospital chair person had been invited. It was Yue's first time attending that program, therefore old Luo and Sumi also went. They intended to visit Old Luo's wife's home in Japan while they were there, and it was also a festival year in Japan.
They also invited Bao to join them, but he said he had some business to attend to, so he declined, saying "next time."
One evening, the elderly guy called Bao and informed him it was time to fly to their destination and to come to the pagoda.
Bao gathered his belongings and headed to the clear sky pagoda. The old man awaited him, and they both got in the car and drove to the airport. People are usually extensively examined for prohibited things at airports, but when they arrived, they passed through the various entrances without being checked. Because the jet they entered was a private plane owned by the group, members of the organization did not have to go through all of those inspections.
When Bao boarded the plane, he noticed a few elderly passengers. They were all martial artists with considerable status in their respective pagodas.
"old man, it took you a long time to get here, and who is this young man?" one of the elderly men said
"I was expecting this little brother; we're from the same city," the old man said.
"Do you take this as a fun trip?" a seated elderly man stated
[THIS IS THE CAPTAIN SPEAKING, GENTELMEN]
[PLEASE TAKE YOUR SEATS FOR DEPARTURE]
Bao and the old guy took their seats after the announcement. The elderly man remained silent after that. They were flying at 35,000 feet above the ground at night. Some were sleeping, some were awake, and Bao was also awake and looking out the window. It was a funny scene; in the immortal world, if he wanted to travel anywhere, he would fly without using external treasures or simply split space apart, but now he was flying on an airplane. If the old emperors saw him like this, they would die of laughter.
He received a call from Yue's parents while he was in his remanences.
"Ba-Bao'er, s-she disappeared," old Luo said hurriedly
"Uncle, can you please calm down and explain to me what happened?"
"Yue'er she was just with us, and while we were climbing to observe the festival, she vanished," old Luo explained.
"Are you certain? Did you call the cops and properly search around the festival?"
"Yes, we did that, and we tried to contact her, but her phone was out of range," old Luo responded.
"I'll be there in the morning; don't worry, she should be alright," Bao said before hanging up the phone.
Bao rose from his seat and informed the elderly man of what had occurred. They approached the captain's cabinet and knocked on the door.
"What is it?" inquired the captain.
"Change the course to Japan," Bao told the captain
"We are not authorized to change our destination unless it comes from a higher-up," the captain replied
"THIS IS NOT A REQUEST; THIS IS AN ORDER," Bao said through a puppet command.
With Bao's jade necklace guarding Yue, it was nearly impossible for any human to hurt her; even martial artists at the peak core formation couldn't do anything to her, unless someone at the high mortal stage was targeting her; he had to go see who dared to do so.
The next morning, Bao landed in Japan. Last night, when Bao ordered the flight pilot to change the heading to Japan, other martial artists on the airplane were not pleased with his choice. At first, they vocally argued, but then the old man from the clear sky pagoda convinced them. They were over 35,000 feet, so they didn't fight inside, and they were not in a rush. They still had a month until the opening, so they agreed and headed to Japan. They flew back to their destination after landing BAO in Japan. When Bao arrived in Japan, he covered the entire country with his divine sense. As someone who previously had quasi-immortal soul, he already had a divine sense after breaking through to core-formation stage, tho it was nowhere compare to his peak state. He noticed that there were many martial artists in the country, yet none of them were capable of harming her. with his energy embedded on the runes, He searched for the jade pendant but couldn't find it. as if it vanished from this p
___At the center of the room was a giant stone lab, on top of that stone slab was a silver-haired sleeping beauty___ Bao moved closer to the stone slab; he had sensed the jade pendant and Yue's presence before entering this room. "Was she already in this state when she came here?" Bao asked the princess "No, she was fine, she just passed out near the transmission gate, changes occurred after she entered this hallowed area." The princes replied [How could I be so careless, I should've noticed that the jade pendant didn't lose its energy but was absorbed by Yue] The change in her body was most likely caused by the absorption of a large amount of spirit energy when she entered this area, which caused her hair to turn silver white and some minor changes in her inner body. Bao sensed Yue's inner world, and there he saw things he had never seen before: all the absorbed energy was gathering at the center, where a vortex was formed and a core was forming on its own without anyone's inter
Bao was alone in the room after the princess and her disciple had left, staring at Yue's sleeping face. "Fate cutting," Bao cautiously lifted his three fingers. Although he couldn't entirely sever her fate with his current strength, he could at least momentarily delay it. If she took the path of immortality, she would truly become someone respected as supreme. But Bao didn't want to see her hand stained with blood. The path to supremacy is a treacherous and long one. With the passage of time and the loss of family and friends, one's feelings will fade. Everything must be abandoned, including family, friends, and feelings. These things will just develop a heart demon and obstruct their progress. Bao didn't want Yue to go through all of that, therefore he intended to save her from such a terrible fate. He wanted her to die naturally rather than endure a long life of suffering. Time passes slowly. In the end, he didn't change her fate; he simply couldn't harm her in any way. He sat ne
While they were conversing, Bao asked a question that caught Princess Kaguya's attention. "If you existed from long ago, you must have heard of the Aztec organization." Bao asked "I'm aware of them, but are you a member of the Aztec organization?" The princess asked back "No, I don't belong to any organization." "As one would anticipate from someone like you, you will not tolerate another boss," the princess added. The princess was not a mortal or a ghost; she was a unique entity capable of sensing and seeing one's true nature. As a result, she concluded that Bao was someone revered; it wasn't his arrogance or pride. It was Bao's very existence that warranted the utmost respect, that was evident in him. "Have you met the founder of the Aztec organization?" Bao asked "Yes, I've met him before." "What kind of group is the Aztec?" "They are similar to our organization with a certain goal."the princess replied "Do you mean the clear sky pagoda?" "Yes, You must have heard of it b
It was late summer and extremely hot outside. A patient lay in bed, unconscious, in a white room. To keep the patient's interior body safe, the temperature within the room was kept cool and maintained. For three months, he had been in a coma. He was in the intensive care unit. The doctors were unable to determine the cause of his coma and therefore gave up hope of him recovering, but someone was still visiting and caring for him, someone he knew well. It was a Saturday, and there were few people about. Only the emergency room was available, and the majority of the doctors were absent. They were enjoying a day off. Only a few staff members and doctors from the emergency room were present. He regained consciousness abruptly, but he was unable to move or talk. His entire body felt shaky. He looked like a someone who hadn't eaten in months. He couldn't even open his eyes. He had no idea where he was or why he had arrived. His thoughts were a jumbled mess. He had lost his ability to thin
Their embrace lasted for hours. Yue slept out after sobbing for a long time in his hug. It was getting close to nightfall outdoors. It was starting to grow dark. She was still resting in his lap. He was caressing of her hair. He eventually woke her up. "It's getting late, Yue'er. You should return right now. Uncle and aunt may be concerned." She rushed here without informing anyone. She was the only one who knew of Bao's reawakening. "I don't want to be too far away from you. I'll spend the night here. What if you leave me again?" Yue said He was moved when he heard her say that. He had no idea how she felt when he was in a coma. For her, It had been three months of separation, yet it seemed like an eternity to him. He searched all ten thousand worlds for her. For this day, he cultivated for hundreds of thousands of years. He desired to spend this life time with her. He wanted a hundred years of romance with her. He wanted to offer her all of the happiness till the end of her, t
It was a tranquil night, and the moonlight shone brightly. Inside a hospital, in a corridor, a man walked slowly; he was Bao, and after gaining enough energy, he was able to move properly. At midnight, as he was gathering energy, he began to hear cries. So he was curious and went in that way, but as he got closer, he heard more cries. Soon after reaching the source of the cries, which was somewhere near the basement, he was surprised for a moment and displeased with what he saw. There he saw an array, and in the heart of that array was an old porcelain that was gathering surrounding spirit, and because soul and spirit are in some ways connected, surrounding mindless Soul were also being gathered. Souls are separated into several grades, and humans living in this isolated world did not possess the complete mortal soul, thus calling them souls would be improper. It was known as the pre-mortal soul, which is lower to the mortal soul above that was Spiritual sense and Battle soul. Th
He was fatigued after refining energy till 3 a.m. and slept until 8 a.m. after waking up, his body was more lively than before. After half an hour, the door to his room was opened, and two elderly people and a beautiful woman entered; they were Ying Yue and her adoptive parents. Bao greeted them both. And look at Yue; when she arrived in a rush yesterday, she was a little sweaty and her hair was messed up, but seeing her today was like meeting a different person. Her hair was midnight-black that flowed over her shoulders, and she had honey-sweet lips that looked blossom soft. Her bosom was well-shaped for her age, and her eyes were blue, reflecting the deep ocean scenery. Despite the fact that she was dressed formally, She had a sculpted figure, like the last single beam of light from the sunset illuminating the endless ocean's surface. She was a painted masterpiece. Even a fairy from the immortal world couldn't compete with her beauty in Bao's eyes. Her cheeks flushed red after be
