The next month was relatively normal, Zhan Wei didn't leave the palace.

He spent most of his time with his fiancee, during the day time they had lessons together and at night he familiarized himself with the changes in his body.

Towards his fiancee Yunzi, Zhan Wei had some good impression, but that was to be expected as they spent most of the day together.

In fact he had expected some negative reactions from her due to the arranged marriage, rather she was quite polite, making an effort to build a relationship between them, coupled with being very beautiful although he couldn't say he had feelings for her, he already had a sense of feelings of companionship.

Listening to him , they were all worried , naturally human beings preyed on beasts and beasts preyed on humans, it was the law of nature.

Yet the sudden increase in strength of large numbers of beasts and their large scale aggressive behavior, felt strange!

Zhan Shenwei was very worried, one had to know the War Clans were the first line of defense of the Xia empire in the barren wastelands, he was worried about his family and Clansmen.

Laughing hysterically he continued, "how dare you worms seal this king , how dare you worms resist me !".

The next , the atmosphere in the imperial capital was very tense , obviously news had reached the people about the behavior of the wild beasts in the barren wastelands.

Although the War Clans had tried to suppress them , they couldn't stop the large horde completely , some beasts had slipped and devastated some nearby villages.

All sorts of murmurs could be felt around and the citizens were in the distress.
