Just a Dream

"Are you really my mother?"

No answer. There was only silence as Flora waited for an answer.

"Are you really my mother?" Flora repeated her question.

But still the same, quiet. Even a gust of wind swept across her face. Flora blinked, opening her eyelids, to see that she wasn't in the royal palace. But still here, in her room right above the bed.

Is this a dream?

Flora looked around, nothing had changed in her room, but what surprised her was that her bedroom window was wide open. Still remember how Flora came out of that window, climbed onto the rug with a strange woman and carried her through the ball of light into the beautiful sky palace.

Turns out this was just a dream. But Fllora felt her dream was real, more real than she was feeling right now. But if it was real, how could it be from a palace that was that far away, suddenly Flora was in the room again in the same sleeping position as before. Strange.

Flora looked at the clock that was perched on the wall, her eyes long enough to stare at the dial of seconds on the round timepiece. Turns out she'd been asleep for quite a while ... three hours.

Feeling the wind getting stronger into her room, Flora closed the window. There's nothing out there. Only people's houses are dark and the street light is flickering. No balls of light or flying rugs.

What is there, Flora's memory in the dream was so clear and sharp, she thought to herself, the question of Her Majesty the Queen in the dream? Flora could feel the longing she felt deep and the high hopes for Flora to be able to save … father?

Whose father?

What Flora didn't understand even more was that in that dream she was called Princess Anastasya.

Funny that Flora believed that. She'd better go back to sleep.

Unbeknownst to Flora, a woman in a white dress with a glowing star wand was standing outside staring at the closed bedroom window. She smiled, before finally disappearing just like that.

"Good afternoon, Flora. Let's have lunch together!"

On a campus that was busy with students, Morin took Flora who was busy reading in the library.

"I brought lunch."

"Come on, let's eat your lunch in the cafetaria. Come with me, let's go."

Even though she was lazy, Flora finally put the books back on the lined shelves. Actually she's not hungry, it's just that Morin really needs someone to talk to. Remembering Felisya—a friend who used to go everywhere with Morin, lying in a coma in the hospital due to a tragic accident. Hopefully she doesn't end up the same as Rose.

"Yesterday Xander asked for your cellphone number and home address, Flo. I don't know what to do. I'll just give it, who knows it's important." Morin continued when she was outside the library. The two of them were walking towards the cafeteria which passed the futsal stadium.

Flora's guess turned out to be right, Xander got her identity from Morin.

"Did he call you?"

Flora shrugged, lazy to discuss off about a man who was too meddlesome and curious about people's business.

"Or has he come to your house?"

Again, Flora replied with a shrug.

"I'm sorry, Flo. You seem uncomfortable with me discussing Xander. I also didn't want to give he your cellphone number and home address at first, but he insisted. He said it was important, so I gave it." explained Morin.

"It's okay, Morin. Indeed yesterday Xander sent a message and followed me secretly till I got home. It didn't stop there, he said that my house had a lot of negative energy, and the aura was dark."

"What?! Dark like what?" Morin's eyes widen.

Morin was happy that Flora could be spoken to like this, unlike before, where only the shoulder was the mainstay of the answer. "Just so you know, Flo. He never talks nonsense, because what he talks about is always in accordance with the power of the inner eye that he has."

"You mean?"

"Xander is an indigo, he has a sixth sense. Since childhood, he has been able to see mystical things. In addition, he can see someone who is have an accident or is about to die." Morin said fiery.

"You're serious?"

"Do I look like I'm lying?" Morin asked back.

From the opposite direction, Flora saw Xander who was walking. Morin also waved at his cousin very cheerfully. But instead of greeting again, Xander ran past the two of them, he ran and entered the futsal field where many people were playing on it.

Morin and Flora turned around. Clearly in front of him, Xander pushed a man when a pole fell in a matter of three seconds, shocking the people in the area. If Xander had been late to the rescue, perhaps the man would have bled and was only leave a name.

The collapsing concrete pillar silenced everyone, to be more precise. But not a few also screamed, who else if not the women who were watching gave support.

Xander who also fell down, got a helping hand from the man he saved. Over and over he thanked him. Although the shock still gripped the soul, the man felt obliged to quickly thank him. Considering that there are thousands of students on this campus who knows when they can meet again.

"Thank you, Brother."

"You're welcome."

Morin, who was still standing outside the gor, was still smiling. What Xander did was not once or twice he saw. Even the super hero action just now might be the tenth or hundreds of times.

"You are indeed my super great cousin." Said Morin by raising his thumb at Xander who had come out of the gor. She gave a compliment representing a sense of pride.

As Xander approached, he bounced as if something had hit him. He took another step toward Morin and Flora. It was the same again, even now he almost fell.

"What are you doing, Xander?" Morin panicked. Likewise the confused Flora.

Xander looked at the necklace Flora was wearing. The strength is in the necklace. Xander was sure, it was not a random necklace.

"You'd better not wear that necklace again, Flora." Xander concluded breathlessly. He held his chest which felt tight and tired.

"Why?"

"There is an evil power in it!"
